KeymasterI had no idea that care bears was from the 80’s. Thought it was a late 90’s, early 00’s thing. I like learning things here, guys
Wait wait wait. Please tell me you’ve seen the Care Bears II movie. It’s like…legit. I mean, terrifying but legit. The songs! The bears! Dark Heart! I mean, who knew Evil was really a red head in a jumpsuit!

KeymasterWhat RG said except now I think rump will be a force of good who, next season, will be using his knowledge and powers to save Emma. He won’t need to be “redeemed” cause his heart is wiped clean. I think that’s what they will go for. I also think someone will literally her their heart broken(as in crushed)
And it makes me wonder….is it possible for everyone’s hearts to get wiped clean like that?
*sigh* Golly, I hope not. That’s not how character redemption should work. It shouldn’t be because of a plot device (sucking hat, for an example) but because of hard work and making good choices. I mean, I know that sounds simple and un-TV like where we can have SHINY things do all the work for us but…let a girl dream.

KeymasterGlad you got a response, Matt. I’d wager she isn’t penning anything in S5 at all, then. If the show does get a S6, then maybe she’ll be allowed to stretch her legs (pen?) as it were.
As for the title itself….who gets a broken heart? My guess: everyone. Emma is taken to the Underworld with Charon to meet Hades leaving Snow, Charming, Henry, and Hook broken hearted. Zelena gives birth and Robin feels the pull of fatherhood stronger than before leaving Regina wondering if she and Hood will ever share something like that. And Belle’s heart is broken when once again she’s spent all season in a dusty old shop acting like Google. Rumple’s heart is broken when he wakes up and realizes that the writers still don’t feel like redeeming him and instead he’s on a mission to get his powers back.

KeymasterSo now what are they going to do the rest of the season and will we care or lose interest…..
This is the biggest question I have right now. Gotham almost lost me at the end of S1. I was totally uninterested by seasons end. I only decided to watch S2 premiere on a whim and was impressed by how the show had done an almost 180. The second episode was the highlight of the series and, to quote Jerome, it “was surprisingly pleasant.” Only time and narrative will tell if killing Jerome was the shot in the foot, as POM is calling it. If the writers can keep up the momentum and stay focused (and not get bogged down in case of the week procedural) then it might work, though I agree that they are now lacking a character who is as engaging as Jerome was. The writers need to bring the other villains, particularly Barbara, in to fill the Jerome size hole in the show.

KeymasterI am older than many of you and being a child of the 80s my first thought turned to the Care Bear Stare:

(this movie terrified me as a child, just PS)

KeymasterAlso, looks like Brigitte was correct. She is indeed not writing any of 5A’s episodes. I wonder why?
Yes this is weird. Is she “in training?” Is she just editing/helping out? Is she writing something HUGE in 5B and needs to focus on that? (and if yes, then why are they giving something HUGE to the absolute newbie?)
