KeymasterGuyz.
Meregser is going to write a fic. A SATIRE
Here’s the prologue. I think we should keep track of this one

Keymaster8) Who is Lily’s father? Merlin. Who was probably stuck in dragon form through some kind of magical plot device, and hence doesn’t actually remember fathering Lily.
How old do we think Maleficent is? She might be a great connection to the Merlin story.
If she’s more dragon than human then I’d say she’s *very* old. In most mythos, dragons are thought to live for hundreds and hundreds of years

Keymaster(everyone should read Mists of Avalon–and yes the original legends but then go read some lovely revisionists work)
I’m not sure about the origin story, but I’m going to guess that Merlin is currently entombed/imprisoned somewhere (by whoever stands in for Niviane) — and this is why he’s never seen, and only shows up as a column of blue and red smoke. Now, wouldn’t it be a hoot if Niviane were the Blue Fairy?
Oh I like that.
Although it might at some point be stolen by Lily to enact her plans for revenge against the Charmings, and also to tie in that plot line with her search for her father.
I wonder if Lily will have any sort of draw to the dagger given her “darkness” and if Merlin is her father and he created it…she might feel a pull toward it.

Did he have greedy dragon thoughts and then had to have Aslan unscale him?

KeymasterI would love to see Avalon. That would be gorgeous.
Ooooh. I forgot about Avalon. Yes please
Merlin is Blue Fairy’s son.
Aaaaaabsoltuely
I thought it was said that the darkness originated in Merlin and he expelled it from himself before attaching it to a human host? Random peasant #46 could be the original dark one as we know it all because Merlin made a douche move.
Darkness was spread out over the land and Merlin tethered it to a human. @MatthewPaul thinks it might have been Merlin’s own darkness, though.

Keymaster1) Where did Emma go?
Camelot
2) What is Merlin’s backstory?
I think he’s going to be a lonely god-like figure. He seems to be older than time and capable of great power. But I think it’s made him lonely and given to fits of inhumanity. He won’t know what to do when Dark! Swan shows up in his realm having isolated himself for so long.
3) Will we see Arthur/Guienvere/Lancelot?
Arthur and Guienvere yes. Lancelot no. He’ll be mentioned in passing.
4) Who was the original Dark One?
Morgan La Fey
5) Who will have control of Emma’s dagger?
Hook
6) Will we see Zelena again? Will we see August again? Will we see Ursula again?
Yes. Maybe. No.
7) Will we other lands besides the EF and (maybe) Camelot?
Like @MatthewPaul I think we might get Aladdin as a one-off and that would mean Agrabah, which we’ve seen in WL.
8) Who is Lily’s father?
Merlin
9) Will Rumple wake up? When?
Yes. Sometime around episode 506…in the back half of the arc, at least
10) Will Henry get a new quill?
No
11) Is the Apprentice dead?
Yes
12) How will the SB gang find Emma?
The Jolly Roger was returned for a reason. They’ll find a plot device in Gold’s shop that can help the JR get to Camelot. I think it might just be Hook, Regina and Robin going. Charming and Snow stay at home in SB looking after Henry and Roland.

KeymasterAbout the new writer is going to be even worst, bc appears she never wrote anything important, so to show work she will go along with what the others writers tell her, she was probably already brainwashed with the idea that CS is amazing and almost bet if she sees ouat, will be only S4
Well, be fair. Just because she never wrote anything important doesn’t mean that she’ll be the worst. Ever writer does have to start somewhere. Once upon a time even Jane Espenson was a nobody and while her episodes as of late are pretty lackluster, she did give us Skin Deep and Desperate Souls because she honed her craft and because she had good show runners. She might be a brilliant writer but like I said to you earlier about Balas and Bates, it comes down to the showrunners and their vision. Look at Scott Nimfaro; he is pretty clearly on the SQ train but he has to write what A and E tell him.

KeymasterJust a few notes in passing:
–I think all the writers are pro-Hook. They’ve swallowed their own kool-aid as it were. I don’t think it’s one singular (or even two or three) writers. For Adam and Eddy he’s clearly their wish fulfillment guy. Kalinda obviously liked him. Jane has talked about Hook and Spike’s similarities and how that helps her understand and write Hook (which makes me vomit but moving on)
–Happy Wednesday
