KeymasterAww, I remember that! But wait, this is a totally different deal. It’s been a while, but isn’t this Dark!Willow/Xander, who essentially go way back to kindergarden? This is really not the kind of “tall/dark/handsome” walking cliche romance that CS tends towards. I mean, do Hook and Emma even have anything in common, besides a love of leather jackets?
It’s different situation but the emotion behind is the same: if you’re dying or are going to destroy the world, then I’m going with you. With Emma and Hook it’s horrible and cliche and only serves to make Hook look good and Emma look weak. With Xander and Dark!Willow it was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen.

Keymaster(thanks for a great recommendation)
You’re welcome. We’ll discuss when you’re done 🙂
I am 1000% percent sure that Hook’s kiss will break her curse. It would be more circular and appropriate for Henry to kiss Emma but it will never happen.
Basically yes. We get theories wrong all the time, but the writing is on the wall with this one.

KeymasterWhat yarn is that?? It’s great.

KeymasterIf Emma is the Dark One… That means TLK is probably coming to cure her of the darkness. And I have a feeling it would henry’s maternal (well..son-ternal?) love for his mama.
I wrote this elsewhere so I’ll just repeat myself. (not to be mean, just because I want people to prepare themselves)
Given that 511 is (I believe) the 100th episode, A and E would see it as being a rich way to bring their story to a circular close (in a way; obviously we’d have another half season at least of OUAT). Emma saved Henry with a TLK in 122, someone saves Emma with a TLK in 511, thus closing the arc of Dark! Swan.
In fact, I believe they’ll even have the similar dialogue. There’s a reason why they didn’t have Hook say ILY back to Emma in 422 and it’s because they want the impact for 511. So, basically Emma will probably be super duper dark, Hook decides he doesn’t care, if she’s going to destroy the world or whatever he’ll die alongside her (cause Jane Espenson is still on the writing staff and “yellow crayon”–if you don’t get the reference, then my heart is broken and you need to spend the summer with BtVS), goes up and says “ILY Emma” (just like Emma in 122 says “I love you Henry” for the first time) kisses her, rainbows, curse broken. Circular storytelling.
It SHOULD be Henry because he’s Emma’s canonical true love. But…it ain’t happening.

KeymasterQuestion: the dagger is left lying in the road, with Emma’s name on it. Couldn’t someone–Hook, Henry, Snowing, Regina–just pick it up and summon Emma back to SB?
Not if she’s in another realm.
Has that been established in show?

KeymasterOh, and RG: Something weird is happening with this thread that’s causing it to always jump to page 3 whenever I post.
Nothing weird I promise. When threads hit a certain amount of pages it no longer takes them back to page one. When we hit 1000, it took us to page 2 instead of page 1. Now that we’re 2000+ pages strong, it takes us to page 3

KeymasterDo you think Henry becoming the Author and “undoing” the AU is how Henry also became Rumple’s “undoing”?
Yes.
Otherwise – I don’t really get it…are the fairy tale stories in repeat? I mean – the story of Snow White for example, was told and retold many times… even during Walt Disney’s lifetime.
Yeah and Walt Disney certainly wasnt the first one to record it. And he (and the Grimm brothers) didn’t even record what OUAT showed us! The Disney and the Grimm version of Snow White for instance…different in many many respects from OUAT
