Keymasterunless it’s going to turn out that Will had some sort of memory wipe happen to him hence why he doesn’t seem to remember Ana.
Of course. Because we haven’t had a memory wipe in 4B

KeymasterI really think Emma Rigby’s availability was a factor as to why they’re still waiting to tell the story of what happened to her. This Season being crowded as is was the main factor of course, based on their answer.
Availability certainly but I also think they just plain don’t know what happened to Ana. They brought Will over to give Rumbelle grief and because they needed to give Belle something to do in S4B, but without any sort of forethought on how to integrate Will properly or make him and his story relevant. As such, he has had almost zero interaction with anyone outside of Belle (little bit of Rumple and Robin and a few passing moments with Emma and Hook) and in during that time there has been almost less than zero indication that he was ever in WL, ever involved with someone named Ana. Even when Belle had her heart taken and then given back, they failed to make any sort of Will/Ana connection. I honestly don’t think A and E have a story that they’ve thought up and planned to explain why Ana isn’t around.

KeymasterEddy: But we can say this is a show about HOPE. So hopefully, the show continues to be hopeful!
Ah yes. The catchall answer. Everyone take a shot. He said HOPE
Eddy: I can tell you that we will answer that very question in the season finale. We will tell you who the sorcerer is.
Jafar
And will there be any relationship between Rumple and Henry in Season 5? Grandpa and grandson.
Eddy: I hope so! It is his grandfather.
Eddy: You’ll have to see what happens at the end of the finale.
Um. Rumple has been his grandfather officially since 214. Either build the relationship or not. Cause so far…jack squat.
Diane: One last lingering thread is Anastasia from Once Upon a Time in Wonderland and her relationship to Will. Will we ever see Anastasia again?
Just tell us what happened then!

KeymasterBased on what Isaac said in Cruella’s centric, these realms are literally realms of STORY. To me that suggests that these realms could have literally been written into existence. So based on this theory, whoever wrote the Enchanted Forest as a realm did so using knowledge of Medieval culture, including religious influences. This would also explain A Land Without Color, Frankenstein’s realm. Victor and his family were shown celebrating Christmas, and Victor even uses the expression “cross to bear.” Also, Victor’s commission letter refers to Austria (obviously a fictional version of it). We are supposed to be getting more in depth on the job of the Author in the finale, so maybe we’ll get some clarifications then.
I like that theory a lot (and yes I remember the Frankie stuff, and I remember bringing up my qualms then as well…). But like I said, I like your idea. I just hope that we get some answers on that, including how a world that has been written into existence can be populated by real, breathing, birthing and dying people. I mean, there is something to be said about how an author’s characters can seem so real that they become REAL but if that’s what A and E are saying then…say it. It’s a neat idea.

KeymasterWell…we’ve seen the Author go from realm to realm, maybe he’s the one who started writing about Christianity thus exposing it to people of the Enchanted Forest.
I would admit that is a possibility (especially since the Author has a bit of a prophetic vibe to him) if we weren’t told time and time again that travel to the Land Without Magic is REALLY REALLY REALLY super HARD. I can buy the Author can write himself to Cruella’s Fictional! London, but our world? Harder stretch for me.

KeymasterI agree that it’s likely some sort of organized hierarchical religion and the writers took the cues for it from our real world surroundings, the most predominant of which for Americans would be Christianity in its most broad definition. And I really think A and E (and Jane, the writer of this episode) isn’t wanting us to think that this is Christianity in the EF, it’s just a line that kinda bothers me for what it means if you stop to think about it.

KeymasterWas there ever a character who wanted to pursue righteousness just because they wanted to be better people?
I would have said Snow up until this season. But then again, she wasn’t exactly a villain until 4B.
I think the answer to your question is: no.
