KeymasterThis is an insanely important article too.
It is about Grey’s and Derek’s death but it’s about the TV landscape and how the death of a character can really impact a show, a fandom, and how we’re all looking at TV right now–not just OUAT–and asking what on god’s green earth is happening
The issue is not whether or not we will be all right. Of course we will be all right. A fictional character on a fictional show has died. With even a small amount of perspective, we can likely all agree that we are going to be fine. The issue, however, is: What is TV all about? What is the point of investing in a show—in its characters and the stories that are being told—if there is no return on that investment?”
There has to be some middle ground. There has to be a way for writers to have the freedom to write the stories they want to write while not taking advantage of the people for whom they are creating their art. Audiences are resilient. We can stand some pain and suffering, and we can recover from almost anything. Some things should be sacred, though—shouldn’t they?
FAmily should be sacred. I honestly don’t care if Emma and Neal didn’t get together in the end (given Emma’s pod status) but the FAMILY should be sacred. Henry’s family. that should be sacred.
Big thanks to Heather for linking this article to all of us today for me to share.

KeymasterI am also legit excited for Barbara Hershey! Cora may be really super villainous but Hershey just kills it. Her WL episode was one of the best of the series

KeymasterCora vows to help her daughter find true love, but Regina remains suspicious of her mother’s intentions
What?! Cora doing selfless for Regina back in the day? Without her heart, probably too. No, Noah Bean. Regina hasn’t met Daniel yet. Ok.
Yes she has. Cora is coming back from WL on the eve of Daniel’s death anniversary:
ora returns from Wonderland to beg Regina’s forgiveness on the anniversary of Daniel’s murder.

KeymasterI am not sure but I think we have dropped every year when DAY LIGHT SAVING TIME starts…. I know with our family we have activities at this time of the year right up til dusk. I make it a point to be in and done by 8pm but many times the rest of the family has other activities ( they catch up via DVD before next season or they stream).. I think this is true of a lot of families because all the stations have a drop in the spring with daily savings time. Anybody else have thoughts on why there is a drop in the ratings ?
We’ve discussed it a lot in the past 10 pagds. Day light savings time does cause a ratings drops. But there are other factors. Go back to when DST began and read our commentary. Matt and I have provided ample reasons.

KeymasterThe promo looks like it’s a return to form for Jane. Her episodes this season have been lacking, but I’ve found that whenever there’s an episode with Cora the episode is normally better (might be my personal bias, but still).
If I agree with you, it’s not bias anymore! Jane has always been a great Cora writer. Here’s hoping.

KeymasterYe gods in heaven….leave the SF/CS alphabet soup canon/non canon/ true love/ present love/past love nonsense OUT OF IT. We are NOT going down that road EVER AGAIN.

Keymaster…among other smaller things. I’m…kind of hoping they bring that up at some point.
You’re cute.
Here is my big question: if they are fated, then who “fated” them. Is the Sorcerer really our God Insert and thus controls Fate (if you believe God does such a thing) or is everyone and everything puppets on strings?
