KeymasterIf you haven’t seen the film, the movie parallels Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake. Natalie Portman is the main protagonist and her character mostly parallels the Odette (swan queen) character, while Mila Kunis/Lily is positioned as the Black Swan, who in Swan Lake is Odette’s evil twin-like antagonist Odile who disguises herself as Odette.
Well. Sorta of. But it’s more complicated. Natalie’s character sees Lily as the Black Swan coming to steal her glory, but in reality Natalie’s character is both Odette AND Black Swan. She becomes the Black Swan and acts accordingly, even murdering Lily and taking her place during the Black Swan’s famous dance. The Lily Character was mostly a red herring to push “Odette” toward her own inner jealousy and villainy.
That seems much more in line with where A and E are going actually since they’ve said that if Emma were to go dark she’s be the Black Swan.

KeymasterIf the drama of Emma going dark ends up rotating around the resulting seaworthiness of CaptainSwan, the process will be complete.
That’s exactly how it’s going to go.

KeymasterThere has to be a reason why some portions of it kept flashing from colour to black & white
…what? It was all in color for me

KeymasterI thought the pilot stated that Regina cursed everyone which brought them to OUR world
The pilot also said Regina was mad at Snow because Snow was prettier. a&E have retconned bigger things before, this if it were properly done, could be just a big plot twist.
There’s plot twist and then there’s “we’re 100% out of ideas and therefore in order to keep the showing going we literally have to fundamentally change the properties of the show”
Our world not being a land without magic…would be the latter.
To compare, finding out that every single one of our characters was in an alien spaceship dreaming S1-5 while they tried to find a new home…would be the equivalent.
The writers have called our world ALWM before, not just in show.

KeymasterI almost think that Hook’s darkness will begin to surface more around her. It’s almost like they’re going to feed off of each others’ dark vibes, the same way Rumple and Lacey did
If I had any faith at all left in the writing of this show, I’d agree. But, because I’m me and any and all hope that A and E will wake up and realize what a travesty they’ve made of this our once favorite show died pretty much alongside Nealfire, I have to say I think it will go the opposite.
A and E are enamored of Woobie! Hook. I have no idea why. He is as colorful as a bowl of oatmeal. But they like him and because Woobie! Hook is basically their self-insert/wish fulfillment character, they’ll never take him back to any sort of extreme darkness because they could never see themselves as such nor see their favorite swash buckling dashing hero (Han Solo) doing that. For some inexplicable reason, Human! Rumple is boring but Woobie! Hook is fascinating. They need to straighten out their priorities, but hey. I’ve been saying that for awhile now.
They’ll have him “fighting” for her; saving her soul and dark heart from becoming something truly unholy with the power of his love (and guyliner).
(Meanwhile Henry stands in a corner, making no noise and pretending he doesn’t exist. Snow and Charming stand next to him discussing the other super horrible bad thing they did that has never been hinted at and seemingly came out of left field for no reason other than PLOT)

KeymasterYou know it’s a crazy night when Jo is the one talking in all caps and yelling about feelings.

Keymasteror, you know, PLOT.
I mean the sooner we all accept this as a legit answer on this show, the better our lives will be.

KeymasterHonestly I am laying down 100 cookies that Lily’s daughter’s name is Henrietta.
Zoey would still work, because both Zoey and Henry end with a “y”. =p
Zonery? HenZo?
Yeah, it’s HenZo
