Keymaster. However, neither of them is prepared for the harsh realities they’ll encounter in the outside world.
Because neither has ever been outside of SB before….??
No credit for the voice of the Sorcerer, it seems. So either it will be revealed via the onscreen credits like with Yvette Nicole Brown as Ursula, or the voice is being kept underwraps til a future episode for whatever reason. Maybe we’re only hearing the Sorcerer in this episode, but seeing him in the flesh later on.
*cough* Naveen *cough*

KeymasterPerhaps Emma’s dark heart is what produces the magic ink?
Squeeeeeeeze the heart and ink comes out?
I might never stop laughing.

KeymasterSo staying the same basically means that the GA didn’t necessarily hate or Robin/Zelena story OR that they didn’t care enough to stop watching. But that might be our floor for the season.

KeymasterThe Enchanted Forest is probably medieval Europe land. Now that I’m thinking about it, it is weird that when Rumple was a child everything looks exactly the same as how it looks when Cora was young, and how it looks in Snow’s time. Or Killian’s uniform from his season 3 flashback that looked too modern to belong to at least 200 years before Snow&everyone else’s time. They don’t have time too.
Except that “The savior will return on her 28th birthday” and time started moving “a year ago” in the EF. They have a concept of time.
liken Cruella’s world and Alice’s London to parallel universes from Sliders. They don’t necessarily follow the same rules as the Enchanted Forest because they’re their own reality.
Yeah, I suppose. It’s just very..hand wavey

KeymasterTo answer that you have to go deeper by pondering when worlds are created in the first place. Maybe this world simply didn’t exist decades ago. The Author described it as a story, so maybe it was only created once it was “written into existence”, literally.
Yes but by whom? Because NL seems to be the big glare here. Barrie wrote Peter Pan around 1900 but we know NL was in existence when *Malcolm* was a child, at least 300 years prior to Barrie.
Also, how many decade-like timeless realms are there? Is there a depression era realm? A Civil War realm? A Roman realm? And why are some eras not separate realms but incorporated into the EF–like Mulan’s Fantasy! China. Why is it not its own space?

KeymasterIf anyone happens to find a random eye on the ground, it’s mine, because I rolled them so hard after that line from Emma about how honest Hook’s been about who he is, that they rolled right outta my head. (PS. Someone made a great vid for my recently sunk Flutter ship on Arrow , and now I am NOT OK all over again. #nevershippingagain)
Oh that moment just angered me. Emma…that’s not how this works!!! Just because Hook admits to being a villain at one point doesn’t negate his villainy and it doesn’t make your parents the real big bads here.
Also…Emma is behaving like a petulant child right now. I get that she’s angry; she has every right to be. But to say that she doesn’t trust Henry’s life to Snow and Charming?? Are you kidding me? They’d never hurt Henry. It’s actually the opposite of their Lily story–they protected their family first and foremost. If the writers want me to buy that Emma has grown as a character then she needs to develop a new coping mechanism.

KeymasterYeah….
See, I liked the twist from a story perspective, but I did wonder if some sort of line was crossed with the way this went down. I do not think we should kill sociopaths but Cruella wasn’t killed because she was a sociopath she was killed because she was threatening a child–sociopathy or not, that’s not a good thing.

KeymasterBut every time it cut to present day, I sank back in my seat and lost interest…
Yeah the present day stuff felt like the exact same conversation/plot line and situations they’ve had before. Like..omgosh! Someone kidnapped her parents!

KeymasterI very much doubt it’s THE James Earl Jones. If they had landed him to do a voice over, they’d have announced it already. He’s big news.
Oh come on. They were friends for like, what…? Two minutes?
I tend to agree. This whole “she was my best friend!!!!” thing is like…you literally knew her for one day.
