No, they just double dipped. They are using the WL actress because hardly anyone watched WL and most of us wouldn’t remember the daughter who was only seen for a few brief seconds. It’s not trying to say that Alice’s daughter = Cruella
Wouldn’t be surprised if the casting department completely forgot she had already played Alice’s daughter, too. Do we even know if the same casting department even handled Wonderland? It technically was its own show.

Effectively immediately, this thread is closed until Matt, Daniel and I make a decision on what to do. There are some hurt feelings on both sides, and we aren’t the kind of site that is going to tolerate that.

I agree. If they were in on this together, it wouldn’t be *as bad* since it would keep with Belle’s sacrificial streak

Lana is a PoC because she is half Latina, hence why we say that the cast is mostly white. She is the exception.
