I’m wondering that too. She said she was going to cast “the Dark Curse” in the flashback, but I think in the present she refers to it as just “the curse” when talking to Regina. It may just be semantics, but maybe she ended up casting a similar but different curse when she discovered she couldn’t pay the cost of the Dark Curse in the past.
Yeah, i think the writers tried to confuse the issue on purpose. I agree though. He could have been a guest and i wouldn’t have thought anything of it. He wasn’t in the show that much until the episode he was killed in anyways. That was back when the writers were trying to prove the show had stakes, which it does not.
I wonder if he got paid for starring or guest status?
I think it’d be fun if Bruce Blain – Deskworker Cop – turns out to be someone interesting since he’ll be appearing again. Bringing background characters to the forefront could be fun.
Jamie Dornan was not actually a regular. He was a guest star on all the press releases at the time. They were just trying to keep the fact that he was going to be killed off a secret by pretending he was a regular.
You’re right. I was mistaken. Thank you for correcting me. That’s so odd that they have him listed at the beginning of the episodes as “starring” when he wasn’t. At that early point in the show I don’t think I would have thought they were going to kill him off just because he was guest starring.

Jamie Dornan was actually billed as “Starring” for 1×01 – 1×07. It’s strange, but you can check the wiki.

That’s a good point. I’m hoping they don’t go that predictable, easy route. Drizella is just too much fun.

I know it’s A LOT to hope for, but I’d love it if the ratings starting to go back up even a little. After initial skepticism, I’m actually really enjoying this season and it seems a lot of people are.
I am confused because it appears that Adelaine Kane is a guest star, not a regular, even though she’s appeared pretty heavily in every episode so far, I think. Makes me wonder if the curse might get broken (or maybe changed somehow) earlier that we’d expect, so the emphasis can shift to someone else.

So I’m thinking she’s been guest starring so far was so we wouldn’t expect her to be the curse caster and such a big player. Plus it seems there’s a lot more pieces to fill in in flashbacks involving her, so I’m optimistic she’s sticking around and may get promoted to a series regular.
