[adrotate group="5"]So is this tear as in a teardrop or tear as in there was a tear in the dress? I could see either, but I’m going with the latter possibly based on the dress tearing scene from Disney’s animated Cinderella. And it just sounds more poetic.
Initial ratings for Inhumans are 0.9 and 0.8. A little better than I was expecting, but I doubt it will hold in the coming weeks. I watched it last night, and I found it quite terrible.

I’ll be interested to hear the numbers for Inhumans and then see how that compares to OUAT next week.
I don’t know where the Pied Piper comment was but wasn’t the pied piper, Peter Pan? Alice knowing the pied piper. Was that just a throw away line? Alice is spending a lot of time with Rumpel. Peter Pan was Rumpel’s father. Is there some meaning to that or not?

I think it could have been a spoiler slip, but also could have been the first character he thought of/random spewing.
Everyone should closely re-read what the writers themselves actually said in the EW interview:
Can you tease anything about the cursed versions of your familiar characters?
KITSIS: When we find them in Seattle, they will be under cursed personas.
HOROWITZ: They’re different than the cursed personas we’ve seen before. While it’s Regina that you’ve been with for six seasons, what she is now in Seattle is something different. What it’s allowing us to do is see these same characters in a new way. Also, Hook never had a cursed persona, so this allows us to do something we haven’t done with Hook before.They’re the same characters but being seen in a new way because Regina and Hook were never cursed before. There isn’t anything that tricky going on here. They aren’t new iterations like Cinderella. They’re the same characters as before with new false identities, just like season one.
This is a very good point. That does make me think you’re right. If things are not as you you’re saying A&E very much misled us.
I just watched the interview. I think what Colin means is that, just like this Cinderella, this is a Hook from a different world. But i dont think hes a clone as in he was created by Emma for her to send off to help Henry or whatever.
So you think Colin is saying this is a new iteration of Hook, just like Cinderella, but with Hook it’s the same actor? The part that still confuses me though is Colin making it sound like the “alternate version” of Hook – whatever that means – is in HH at the same time as the Hook we know having his HEA with Emma.
I mean…Hook, prior to the curse happening say to Henry, “You may not have my blood, but I loved your father and I love your mother. We’re family and we’ll get through this together.” *That* is what the story should be.
THAT is the story I want for Henry, Hook, Regina, and Rumple. I want a family connection like S1. I don’t want any clones who have no real connection to the story. It has to be Henry’s real family bonds that matter. That is what carries realy value and gravitas, not some cheap knock-off version of Hook 2.0.
