I tend to agree. It seems like the minute Rumple finds out hook is in town he immedietly will be on guard, protecting Belle, and probably looking to kill or detain Hook. Once Hook encroaches on Rumple’s world, I see him having a limited window of opportunity to act. *Maybe* Rumple would size him up when he first showed up, instead of attacking him immedietly, but honestly the latter seems pretty likely knowing Rumple. But the minute Hook stepped within 10 feet of the library, Rumple would know and confront him. So I don’t see that really being a successful plan. Also, while I think Hook is clearly calculating and patient, I don’t see him, after 300 years of waiting, wanting to mess around slowly trying to seduce a woman that may not even be interested before killing Rumple. Especially since whatever pain he could possibly cause Rumple by stealing Belle is nothing compared to the pain it would cause him if she died, and that’s much faster and more foolproof.[adrotate group="5"]scaredcrow65Participant@Ziera117 wrote:
I don’t think that Hook has much ‘decency’…he is a pirate.
I said this in another topic, but what if Hook orders Rumpel (with his dagger) to kill Belle himself? I’m not saying he would do it, though that would be craaazy epic…but its a cool idea. It would be cool if he like broke his curse with his true love for belle before he killed her.
I don’t know. Maybe a bit of a stretch…but I like the idea. 🙂 I know…I would take a looong break. I would be crying forever. That would be terrible if she died. I don’t think they could do it though…they would have angry mobs going after them.
Let’s be honest, if you’re a moralless, revenge filled killing type and this is something you’re ok with, it’s totally the way to go. It’s the best and most poetic way he could get revenge on rumple, especially if he specifically orders rumple to rip her heart out just like Milah’s. I think if the writers go here he won’t actually go through with it, for any number of reasons. They seem to be writing hook as somewhat likable and relatable, but still evilish, just like Rumple. The important thing with a character like that is to have them toe the line but not cross it. Gold risked Henry’s life when he stole the potion from Emma. If Henry had died the audience wouldn’t have forgiven gold. But since he didn’t, gold can be loved and redeemed, even though his actions were technically morally the same in either scenario. It’s a storytelling thing. So if hook actually made rumple kil Belle, he’d probably cross that line. I bet if this happens something
stops him, like the power of true love or outside help. Or maybe hook will just hear their pleas and relent because he’s a human bein and she’s completely innocent.
This showdown is bound to be pretty epic regardless, and I do think it will feature Belle somehow. Maybe if hook leaves her alone, she’ll just get the chance to rescue her man for a change!scaredcrow65ParticipantI have a bad feeling that the episode will end with Henry in Cora’s clutches. It seems likely that the writers are gunna go there sometime, and it would certainly be a cliffhanger.
scaredcrow65ParticipantI don’t personally believe her name in ftl is Regina Mills. I think it’s Regina something else or maybe jus Regina. I think when they were all transported she gave herself or was randomly assigned, depending on how the curse worked, the last name Mills. I think it was a connection to her previous life like Hopper to Jiminy and Ruby to Red. I think when he was alive Henry (her father) was never known as Henry Mills, but since she goes by Mills she naturally put a matching last name on her father’s tomb. But I could totally be wrong!
scaredcrow65ParticipantI actually likes her. I liked that she was cool and tough and I thought her story had a realistic, tradgic element to it that ftl sometimes misses in the the wake of all the true love and stuff. I actually likes her even more because of her juxtaposition with aurora, who I’m definetely gunna need to warm up to.
scaredcrow65ParticipantOk I see people addressed this while I typed :)! I think maybe there have been more wraiths in fairytale land in the past and so they know how they work, but this specific one didnt come through until snow and Emma.
Or, if it’s the only prominent one, maybe it had been terrorizing ftl and rumple summened it away and then it returned through the portal?scaredcrow65ParticipantWait, was there more than one wraith?
I had interpreted it as this:
Rumple uses his medallion to summon the wraith from wherever, it attacks Regina and gets sucked through the portal, followed my Emma and snow. The portal opens on the palace floor and the wraith comes out and attacks Phillip, followed by Emma and snow who remain in the hole unconscious until Mulan and Aurora notice them after there adventure. I need to rewatch it cause I could be totally wrong, but that’s how I interpreted it and it explains where the wraith went after storybrooke.scaredcrow65ParticipantClockwatcher:
I’d had this thought too. The queen of hearts, whether she is Cora or not, isn’t very nice. She may have sent two servents over to get him/went over herself with one other, and then screwed them over and instructed that one of them get left behind. That’s the best I’ve gotscaredcrow65ParticipantWho is the brunette woman in the hat? I thought it was Red, but it doesn’t appear to be from the close up. Could it be her stand in of some form, or is she a new character?
scaredcrow65ParticipantAwesome! He’s was so sweet and adorable as Hurley on Lost. I hope that they twist the original fairytale and make the giant nice! I can’t see him as evil!
