Operation: Cobra – Emma and Henry http://youtu.be/-mJsCnklUsE
All their scenes of them talking about Operation Cobra.[adrotate group="5"]schmackyParticipantIt looks so obvious to me that she didn’t believe him. She just wanted to ease everyone else’s fears. But, take a look at that scene again where she tells everyone they’re in the clear and pay attention to her face right after David says “we can catch our breath.” It’s a very telling expression IMO.
schmackyParticipantThis episode had some great lines! In no particular order:
Regina: Emma and Henry and the two idiots
Snow: Anyone else notice he was drunk off his ass?
Red: I ate my boyfriend
Emma: We’re not a group sheriff.
Henry: The monster had bolts, not the doctor (it’s the delivery that was awesome, it was like “duh mom!”)
Emma: Murder is a bad first impression
Emma: Some of us having known him [looking at Snow], it’s weird.
Snow: Maybe doc can do it?
Leroy: haha surgery? HAHHHAHAHAHAHAH ……. NO!And even though it’s not a line, Emma’s headdesk because I think that was the best part of the entire episode. It was better than a line of “OK Henry enough!” Perfection.

schmackyParticipantThe dreamcatcher did show Emma exactly what happened.
schmackyParticipantNot very many good one-liners here (I think because Regina wasn’t in it much … she always gets the really good snarky bits)
But definitely Mr. Gold’s “he has to die Belle!” It’s not the line but the delivery that is beyond awesome. His shrug and shake.. HAHAHA! Laughing just thinking about it.
“Planning your escape from Shawshank kid?” It’s my personal head canon that Emma makes pop culture references and no one gets them. Ever.

schmackyParticipantShe could have been referring to both pre and post prison. Either way, we really know nothing of what Emma Swan was like before SB except that she didn’t get close to people and only went as far as one-night stands. What did she do when she wasn’t hunting down people that skipped out on bail? *shrug*
And just a side-note, I wonder if she worked for a company or for herself. If she worked for a company – OK. If she worked for herself, I wonder where she got money to pay people’s bail. More than likely she worked for someone else and was contracted out.
schmackyParticipantI know the timing is all wonky because she said she was 18 when she had Henry and Regina said he was 10 in the Pilot but I think it’s safe to assume she was arrested at 17 years of age (or younger) otherwise it wouldn’t have been a juvenile record. Whether or not she had her 18th birthday in jail and that’s when she gave birth to Henry is up for debate but either way.. all this crap went down when she was just a kid. A kid that never had anyone look out for her and guide her. She’s made some mistakes, no doubt.. but I think overall she’s done a good job of raising herself.
Being pregnant is a scary thing. Being pregnant at such an early age is even scarier. Being pregnant, young, and alone is even more scary. But the scariest I think? Being pregnant, young, alone, and in prison. She didn’t have many options. And every option was probably scary as hell. It’s a crap situation to be in. And I hope they actually show it some time.
schmackyParticipantI’m a bit nervous that they won’t do anything with it. We’ve seen almost every facet of Regina’s backstory but barely know anything about Emma. They’ve told us about her past but haven’t really shown us. And I’m nervous they’re OK with that.
