All they do these days is muddled. Like, was this arc about evil Arthur, or Dark Hook? It was sort of both, but really they just changed gears in the middle and abandoned their own storyline! >_<

I think Hook will end up as the next Charon, not exactly free from the underworld but not exactly a prisoner. This show has got to do Pirates of the Caribbean sometime.
That would be interesting, but they kind of already did “Pirates”. I was shouting “Black Spot” in this one, every time they talked about how they were “marked”. 😆

The Silver Slippers? Zelena gave them to Dorothy to return to Kansas.
Did we ever decide whether “Kansas” was another realm, or is it Kansas in this world? Because if it’s this world, someone could technically go find them, if they knew about them. (Or if the writers cared. 😉 )

I would totally be on board with Liam 2 being Arthur, but I just can’t make the dates work. This flashback was what, a year before the curse? And Arthur was already an adult (and married to Guinevere) when the curse hit. So I don’t see how unless we have more time travel, and I don’t think any of us want that! (And time travel is normally like, my favorite thing ever. )
Also, how does “Liam” become “Arthur”?
Oh, shoot! I just thought of something! This idea is definitely going nowhere, but, y’all know what Liam is short for right? William!!! 😮
I’ll just, let that one sink in. 😯

In my analogy, the dark force is the one practicing abuser behavior, in order to manipulate and control Hook. The method of cutting the intended victim off from any loved ones, because they can be supportive and would help the victim stand up to or avoid the abuser. It’s always harder to stand up for oneself when you feel alone. It just happened that the darkness could do this in one step, because Emma just happens to be the only loved one Hook has.
And Hook was not the one doing the emotional manipulation (before he went fully dark anyway). He never threatened to go dark if Emma left him, and Emma didn’t leave him. The darkness drove a wedge between them, using lies and manipulation. Exactly the way abusers do.
That said, I understand why you see it the way you do, I just see it differently. So we are probably gonna have to agree to disagree. 🙂
