In ep 3, Arthur tells Grif that they lied about their daughter being the Dark One, and they brought her into Camelot. Two things he definitely shouldn’t remember.
I think that during the six weeks in Camelot our crew discovered that Arthur is a villain, and that Arthur cast the curse (with help), and made them all forget.
And as the designer of the current curse, Arthur remembers everything! 😮

^ I’m thinking he did have Morgana’s help. In fact, I think Guinevere may really be Morgana Le Fay!
If Arthur and Mordred are one, then why not Guinevere and Morgana?!? 😯
Also, I think she enchanted Lancelot with a love spell. Either to get him kicked out because he was a threat, or because she loved him.
But regardless, remember the new curse includes tree magic, suggesting that it was cast by whoever put Merlin in the tree. Maybe it was Arthur and Gwengana (Morgavere?) who cast the new curse, if the heroes found out too much about them. And Arthur does seem to remember things he shouldn’t. He said they lied about the Dark One being their daughter, and they brought the Dark One into Camelot. He shouldn’t be able to remember that, but if he helped cast the curse, then he remembers everything.
And by all indications, this is a classic Dark Curse. Which means a heart was sacrificed. Arthur can’t have sacrificed the thing he loves the most. One, Guinevere is still here, and two, I think he loves power more. Power doesn’t have a heart. But if Gwengana cast it, well, that sounds very bad for Lancelot, doesn’t it? 😮

But I’ve been thinking about it. He says that 5A is “10 nights, 11 hours”, and that “Broken Heart” is the penultimate, which means that it is still ep 10. In order for that to be true, the two hour ep HAS to be 8+9 together! (Or it would be 12 nights, which he says it’s not.) 😯
Night 8 = 8+9 – “Birth” & “The Bear King”
Night 9 = 10 – “Broken Heart”
Night 10 = 11 – Fall FinaleSo I think “Birth” & “The Bear King” have to be aired together… He just won’t answer that.

I agree with Bar Farer, it’s not fair how they are treating us by changing the plan all over the place. Just say what you mean in the first place! Sheesh.

Appearently now he (they?) considers STM as one episode. 508 and 509 are going to air together. So he (they?) Consider 512 to be the 100th episode, but technically, 511 is the 100th episode. I
Matt and I have been talking about this over the weekend and while we’re both confused, we think that is sort of how it is going, except that they are counting 508 as one episode but it’s going to be 2 hours. Then 509-511 airs the rest of the fall schedule. STM is back to being one episode instead of two so that 511 is the winter premiere and 512 is the 100th. Which…sure? I mean, I don’t get why it matters because it changes an entire seasons worth of episodes?
I dunno. Matt could probably explain it once he gets back.
RG, I just saw your post. And … I’m still confused. So 508 is two hours of “Birth”, not “Birth” plus “The Bear King”? And if 509-511 is the rest of fall, then isn’t 512 the winter premier, not 511?
But probably the rest of the internet will call the two hour ep 508+509, even if it’s Birth p1+p2. But would that still make the fall finale 511, and the winter premier 512? Or are the numbers going even crazier than that.
My job at the other forum just got way harder. 🙁 I guess I’ll wait and see.

Looks like every single fan is as confused as can be. And yeah I am getting annoyed, because I start episode threads at another forum, with episode numbers. And last year I treated STM as one episode but regretted it because my numbers were different than every single listing’s site on the internet. >_<
And this year it’s going to be more confusing. Sigh. How is STM listed on the season 4 dvd set? As one or two?
Anyway I think that he can say the numbers are whatever he wants, in his head. But I will use whatever numbers make sense. Or whatever all the listings sites use. 🙄
