Sci-Fi GirlParticipant
Wait, so the two hour episode is the Merida / Mulan / Ruby teamup? And it’s all 508 “Birth”? Because 509 “The Bear King” sounds like a much better excuse for Merida to team up with two other experts in animal transformations!
This is not making sense.

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantDoes Arthur remember they lied? I don’t remember noticing that.

Sci-Fi GirlParticipant^ I thought that was a given?

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantAh, but the Apprentice told Ingrid that the Savior’s name would be Emma, and that was several years before Emma was born! And if the Apprentice knew, surely the info came from Merlin!

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantOoh, good theory! 😎
And it would make for equal parts irony and symmetry too, since Charming once tricked Snow with the fake Excalibur! 😯

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantA few more thoughts about Miko and her father, before watching tonight’s ep:
Her father is the author of the book that details “Katana Girl” and the world in the game. What if her father’s power is that things he writes or draws come to life? (If given enough detail.) There is certainly precedent in universe for art related powers. Also, I can think of two examples in Japanese folk tales!
The first is The Boy Who Drew Cats:
There is a boy who loves to draw cats, so much that he will stop whatever else he is doing and draw cats on any surface available. Eventually, all his cats come to life and defeat a rodent monster that was causing a famine. The boy who was previously seen as useless was then seen as a hero! (And presumably so were the cats. 😉 )
(Last year I did the 30 day trial of Amazon Prime, and one of the videos I watched was this Rabbit Ears production of the story. It is excellent, if anyone is interested. 🙂 )The second story is one I remember reading years ago, but I don’t remember what it is called, and I will probably get some of the details wrong. (If anyone knows the title, or comes across it online, I would love to see it! 🙂 ) From what I remember, there was a wonderful artist who sold all of his works unfinished. He would paint exquisite pictures, but always leave off the finishing detail, like a foot or a feather or an eye. One day he painted a crane, completing everything except the eye. But as he moved to put his brush down, one drop of ink fell exactly where the eye should be, completing the picture. The crane came to life, and flew away!!!
So it would be very fitting for Miko’s father to have a power like that! 😎

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantLol, yeah, I did notice that at the time but I forgot. Thanks for pointing it out! 😀

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantI just thought of another theory: Luke exploded in Odessa on June 13. It just seems a bit coincidental that he’s suddenly developing Ted Sprague powers.
Ooh! Maybe! 😯

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantEpisode 3 (week 2) :
Game girl and her buddy are the best part of the show! 😀
It’s Hiro’s sword? What? How is that possible?!?
And when she said who her father is, they all seemed very surprised to learn he even has a daughter. (I forgot her father’s name.) “Do you have your father’s power, or are you his greatest creation?” 😯 Was she even born? Or did her father … design her?!? 😮
So her father’s abduction is connected to the whole Renautas, Midian, Epic product launch that the others are dealing with. Maybe he designs technology, and they needed him to help build the thing.
And clone guy is weird.

So suddenly Chuck has a power (sorry, I can’t seem to remember any names :p). It looks like he absorbs solar radiation, and channels it somehow. Has he never stayed out in the sun too long before? LOL!
—
And Noah. Noah, Noah, Noah. 😐
It is looking more and more like Noah helped create some “plan”, that he then had to forget for it to succeed. Because this is the second ally from the past that has risked/sacrificed themselves to prevent him learning the truth, saying they won’t risk “the plan”.
I am certain that Noah helped set this plan in motion, and it somehow depends on him not knowing about it now. And the suspicious guy following him around is encouraging him to find out, and learning everything too! He says he “used” to work for Renautas, but I bet he still does. Noah wouldn’t even know there was anything TO investigate if this guy hadn’t shown up!
So on June 13, Noah was wandering around in a hospital somewhere, away from the convention for part of the time. I think he was away from the convention when it exploded, put some plan into motion, went back into the rubble, and had the Haitian erase his memories of the day. It would explain how he woke up without a scratch.
And does anyone here believe that Claire is really dead? Anyone? Cause I don’t! I think this fancy “plan” involved hiding her, and convincing the world that she is dead. Noah made sure to be seen on footage sobbing over someone blond. And then for the world to believe it, he had to believe it too.
Because it would probably be disastrous if the people who are exploiting powers got hold of hers.
