So while Merida would be an excellent choice, it’s going to come down to whether or not she’s “the chosen one” which is why I’m still banking on either Emma or Henry.
I like the idea of Henry being the one to pull Excalibur. There was a moment in Heroes & Villians where he actually picked up a sword before Isaac appeared.

I don’t think that is what’s going on. I think Regina is experiencing what life is like for Emma, but ultimately will learn how to be a hero on her own terms.
I still think Regina has a lot of darkness inside and while she is prepared to save the town this time because she feels responsible, I don’t see her ever embracing the ideals of the ‘heroes’ where they help anyone in need because it is the right thing to do.
Ultimately I don’t think Regina will be the one to pull the Sword out of the Stone.
Ok, so I had a thought last night. What if Merida was the one who could pull Excalibur from the stone?
I think she would be an excellent choice since she is already a queen/chieftain? Shes brave(duh), smart, fearless, truthful, and fair.
And we know she’s in Storybrooke.
Regina’s dress and hair for the ball. I know the goal was to soften her look, but they took it to the opposite end of the spectrum. She isn’t going to Medieval Prom. A happy medium between Evil Queen and Pretty Pretty Princess would’ve suited Regina’s character better.
In an interview Lana said they styled Regina as if Cora were dressing her. The logic being Regina would think “Oh, well my choices are wrong so what would my mother want?” If you think about it that way all of the choices make sense.
Are they in Fairy Tale Land? Or is Camelot a realm of it’s own? Because surely Arthur and Camelot would have heard of the Evil Queen, who was declared one of the most fearsome villains, second only to the Dark One….surely they would have known Regina wasn’t the Savior!!!!
Adam and Eddy said that Camelot was next to the Enchanted Forest in a way similar to Arendelle. They are all in the same realm, but the royals don’t mix like the ones from the Enchanted Forest.
So my thinking is Fairy Tale Land is a realm with a wide reach and within Fairy Tale Land there is the Enchanted Forest, which is where most of our players come from.
That bothered me so much. I mean, yes they’re in Camelot, but aren’t they also technically in Fairy Tale Land? It’s all the same realm. She should be going by her actual name.
I actually think that was intentional. David said ‘his realm’ was threatened, but they explicitly didn’t mention the Enchanted Forest. They made a point to say no one knew who they were. Neither Regina, David nor Snow were treated like royalty.

Charming. He was all over the place in this episode and I loved it. I could see the royal prince in him at every turn and it was so exciting.
The Snow/Emma moment was like 3 seasons in the making I couldn’t be happier

I want to know why the residents of SB appear to be back in present-day SB in the same clothes as they appear in Camelot. Notice how there are cars in the background of some of them.
They are back in those shots. I’m not quite sure why they changed from Camelot clothes to their last SB clothes.
And ho has Merlz been trapped in a tree this whole time when he has clearly been speaking with apprentice…
Well we saw him speaking to the Apprentice in that weird smoke could thing. Maybe his body is trapped in the tree. But clearly he was out 20+ years ago in order to visit Young Emma. Maybe Arthur put him in the tree.
