Now this is more like it! Last weeks episode left me a bit “meh”, but I loved pretty much everything that happened this week.
I guess it helped being largely spoiler-free. The scenes between Zelena and Rumple had me on the edge of my seat.
Regina apologising to Belle was great as were the scenes between Snow and Regina.
And before I forget: Emma having fun with magic. I’d have loved to see Henry walk in on that!
For once I have very few complaints. I’m not sure why Snow ever leaves her magically warded appartment or why they thought it would be a good idea to have a highly pregnant woman be part of a terrifying seance. But those are just small nitpicks.
[adrotate group="5"]Daniel mentioned one on the podcast for 316 that Zelena could be Snowing’s new baby sent from the future. Probably the weirdest one I’ve heard.
That one was as brilliant as it was insane. I’m absolutely loving it. Zelena being Emma’s sister instead of Regina’s, due to wibbly wobbly time stuffs. 😀
The way I see this playing out (purely from my own overactive imagination) is Hook will brood things over for a while. Emma will wonder what’s wrong/will become more interested in him now that he’s stopped invading her personal space every 5 minutes.
Hook will eventually decide to tell her. He’ll confront Emma. But Emma will misinterpret things.
Emma: “What’s wrong?”
Hook: “There’s something I have to tell you….”
(Hook is silent for a while as he struggles to think of a non-ridiculous-sounding way to explain that his lips are cursed.)
Emma: “It’s ok, I know.” *Kisses him*Then Emma will lose her powers and they’ll have to find a way to fix that in time for the seasons finale.
Jafar.
Though I suppose he’ll probably end up dead after he inevitably ends up on the main show. 
I used to want them to keep Zelena around into next season, but now I just want to see her melted ASAP.
Actually I hope they’ll keep Zelena around. I think she’s my favorite villain yet. She seems to be having so much fun doing what she does! Add to that her unpredictability and crazyness and you never know what you’re going to get. Rebecca Mader seems to be having a blast playing her, which makes her very enjoyable to watch for me.
As for Blackbeard, I dont think he was ever meant as more than a one-off character and vague reference to the book. And from a character perspective I think Hook 100% made the right call there. Hook could not let someone get away with stealing his ship (and his reputation). There was no guarantee that Blackbeard would’ve actually led him to prince Eric. More likely he’d have left him on a remote island somewhere without ship or crew (and his crew would never follow him again after that).
Ariel’s reaction seemed a bit over the top to me. I can understand she was angry, but I’m sure Hook would’ve continued helping her search for Eric, even without Blackbeard if she’d stuck around.By the way, did anyone else expect her to become shark-food when she jumped into the water like that?

Regina: “He’s prone to violence, impulsive and has a hook for a hand. What about him would a twelve-year-old boy not like?”Im finding the whole blood-magic thing rather unclear. Have we ever seen it being broken based on family relations? Zelena had to steal Regina’s blood to get into the secret-tunnel crypt, but the rest of the castle could have had very different protections (that Zelena broke earlier in order to get inside).
edit: right, Regina’s office. Perhaps Zelena had some monkey-stolen Regina blood left? I’m just confused why she had it stolen in the first place if she could get past those locks based on her own blood.

So after the most recent episode, there’s something missing here:
Meat pie!
Anyone got any good recipes to share? (I must admit Zelena’s pie doesn’t look all that apetizing here. I’m sure we can do better!)

Bring on the (chicken? cow? unicorn?) meat-pie recipes. 🙂
I agree as well. He was giving her an example of a happy moment from his past. A fairly harmless one. I doubt he’d want to share anything too intimate with this fickle, easily excitable groupie he just met.
But why oh why meat pie??? Cinnamon-topped chocolate milk, yum. Apple turnover? Ok, I guess. Hamburgers? Sure. But I just don’t see myself serving meat pie if I ever find enough ouat fans in my neighbourhood to throw a season-finale-watching-party with ouat-themed food.
How do you even make meat pie? Is there a ouat-themed recipe page? There needs to be a ouat-recipe page!
