Participantnice catch. I think there several parallel quotes like that I may be missing. I know some have been pointed out in the podcasts.

ParticipantAlso found this little tidbit with a few quotes from Kitsis and Horowitz concerning Rumpel. Don’t know if it qualifies as a spoiler or not, so better safe than sorry:)
Ausiello: Although series co-creators Eddie Kitsis and Adam Horowitz won’t quite come out and say he isn’t as bad a guy as we think, the former does allow that “he’s a complicated man, [and how you view him] depends where you line up with his interests. [It’s always a question of] whether you’re in the way of that agenda or not.” Adds Horowitz: “There’s more to come this season” — in particular, in Episode 19 — “about him and his son and what happened there that may, hopefully, shed a little more light.” And yes, there is some light in him. “A lot of these characters have grey areas,” Kitsis reminds. “There’s some humanity in him.”

ParticipantThanks for that response. I agree with you. You put into words some of the ideas I could not quite get together. What came to me while reading your post was that remembering what his life was like without power might not be something he wants to go back to. He was quite the cowardly/fearful character before killing the dark one. I don’t know that he believes there could be something different with true love. Maybe he just sees what he was and who he is now and nothing else.

ParticipantI’ve wondered as well about nursery rhymes, especially because of a spoiler I saw in casting for a future episode, but am having a hard time convincing myself the writers would go there as well. But maybe the idea of nursery rhymes fitting in will be confirmed in some episode. O my, the places my mind will take off to then… 😆 Thanks for writing out the idea.

Participant@slurpeez108 Okay. When I first saw it in a blog it was spelled with an N. But I like what you said too:)
@ mia Have to agree with the close up it looks like a beehive Somebody must be making apple blossom honey. 🙂

Participant@mia I’m not hoping for it either, because all of us want something original. But it would be a better ending than LOST 😉 LOL!

ParticipantI fall on the no one but Rumple knows side. And I too wish it was in his cane, but thought it to big. But if there are pieces of FTL kind of all around, like Snow’s glass coffin and pieces from that, then maybe only the people transported and not things, you know. Maybe Mr. Gold has been finding and collecting the things in his shop all these frozen years, and maybe he has yet to find his knife.

ParticipantYou know I was being kind of tongue in cheek when i wrote previously but the more I have thought about it its not anymore a crazy theory than others. Robert Carlyle’s Rumple is very much like Johnny Depp’s Jack Sparrow, just quirky and your never sure what side he’s on. The EQ is like Davy Jones, and Emma — Will Turner. Rumple could help Emma stab the EQ’s heart and release her from the Curse to her lost love. Rumple’s curse would be broken by the use of the “zoso” knife on the queen’s heart and Emma would be the Savior and help return the FT characters to their happy endings. Weird, huh?

Participant@hjbau Love your thoughts! I wouldn’t put it past these former LOST writers to create alternate realities once again:)
