Now I came in here and someone said rumbelle broke up. WOW! now I am curious. who broke it Rum or belle?

Belle. She found out Rumple had been lying to her about the dagger. Then she used the dagger on him to banish him from SB. But he found a way to lie and scheme his way back into town by manipulating Belle (twice). Their relationship is likely well and truly over after he has used her repeatedly. Plus, she’s now dating someone else (Will Scarlet), and Rumple is dying.

*watching fandon have meltdown on Twitter*

*sees Adam basically throw his hands up in the air and come to the realization he should have come to years ago*

That’s right Adam; sharing things on Twitter is a superbly BAD IDEA

What is it this time? Not enough CS this past episode? Anti-OQ senitment by SQers?

Firstly, *hugs* to Jo. Secondly, everything that @nevermore wrote just makes (1) Rumple the 300-year-old dark one sound ignorant and (2) the writers who created him sound even more out-of-the-know about medical science. Even if we’re to assume that Rumple of the Enchanted Forest might not understand modern medicine, Mr. Gold at least would’ve had 28 years worth of memories of how life without magic woks during the curse.

I don’t think it’s a grey area. Robin isn’t consenting to sleep with/kiss Zelena who is well aware of her actions. It can be likened to someone getting too drunk to be able to say no? They are unaware that something is being done to them, but the person doing the thing is aware. The fact that Zelena takes delight in it makes it even more reprehensable

It’s absolutely disgusting that Zelena is impersonating Robin’s wife after she killed her, and then carrying on romantically with Robin without his consent. When Robin kisses Zelena, he thinks he’s kissing Marian, his wife. Presumably, Robin is also sleeping with the woman he thinks he’s married to, only he’s not, because she is really Zelena. It’s sexual abuse of the highest order, because even if Robin can sense something is not right with “Marian” he has no idea just who he is dealing with or to what wicked and perverted lengths Zelena will resort to to ruin Regina’s life. It’s morally repulsive that Zelena is kissing Robin and presumably sleeping with him. It’s a form of rape if Zelena sleeps with Robin without him knowing her real identity, because it would totally be against his will; Robin would never willingly consent to have romantic relations with Zelena.

If Belle takes out her heart, and say she actually prefers the feeling of not being able to feel her hurt over the heartbreak Rump caused her to feel, she may not want it to be put back in.

How exactly would Belle remove her own heart in this scenario, since she lacks magic? Regina would still have to enchant Belle’s hand to be able to remove her heart, the way Regina enchanted Hook’s hook to remove Cora’s heart (which he instead used to remove Aurora’s heart). However, I doubt Belle removes her own heart or gives it willingly. Look at the way the spoiler is worded:

As for Regina, she steals Belle’s heart. She believes the Evil Queen needs to do what she does best in order to save the people she loves.

Regina stealing Belle’s heart implies (1) Regina takes Belle’s heart by force and (2) Belle is powerless to stop it since she lacks magic. I think Belle is just being used as a pawn against Rumple in a power struggle, as a way of protecting Robin. In S1, Regina frequently used Belle as a pawn to try and break Rumple’s curse with TLK, Regina kidnapped and imprisoned Belle in the EF, and Regina held Belle prisoner for 28 years in the hospital basement. Regina has never respected Belle’s agency or her personhood, let alone her freedom. Regina is resorting to her own Evil Queen tactics.

But GOD FORBID that Henry get his FATHER. They KILLED NEAL OKAY.Let’s bring back a woman who tried to kill a baby and gave zero craps about anyone. But not the kindest man on the entire show?! Sure. MORALS.

    THAT! ALL OF THAT!

I can’t stand Zelena for killing Neal (or more accurately, I hate that the writers killed off Neal in the stupidest possible way). Even Regina said her sister killed Neal. Maybe Zelena didn’t literally force Neal’s hand, but she did set him up and prey upon his desperate soul. Neal was desperate to get back to Henry, because he didn’t want his son to grow up fatherless the way he did. Was Neal’s death the worst written ever on the show? Yes –even Cora got a much better send-off than Neal, and she Cora got to say goodbye to her daughter. But Neal? No, he didn’t even get to say goodbye to his son. I hold Zelena responsible for premeditating the plot to kill Neal. And so does Regina hold her sister responsible for killing the father of her child; she even said as much.

    2. Despite Rumple all but spelling it out for Robin that he should go back to Regina, Robin still made the decision to stick with Zelarian. Regina is second best again. This episode has absolutely destroyed Robin’s character in the worst way possible. Regina deserves better!

Does she? I mean…Regina is now taking Belle’s heart as a way to get leverage over Gold after he threatened Robin. That doesn’t sound like something a redeemed hero does (unless it’s with Belle’s blessing and full cooperation as a way to take down Gold). If you ask me, Robin and Regina deserve each other.

*reads spoiler* Now Regina is using Belle as leverage against Gold after Gold threatened Robin? Regina is using Hook’s tactics from S2 of targeting Belle to get at Gold. And here I thought Regina was meant to be on the road to redemption. Is she backtracking down a dark path?

How many Fictional!Englands are there? One for each time period? That seems a bit excessive.

That is exactly the question I was going to pose. So far we have fictional England of the late 1800s (Alice in Wonderland), and fictional England of the 1920s (Cruella de Vil), which seem to be separate and distinct lands and/or AUs from *REAL* London of the early 20th century in which Baelfire landed and met Wendy Darling. Also, there is that pesky little detail that the fictional England of the 1920s occurs in the Once universe timeline prior to the events of late fictional 19th century England (which in Wonderland was concurrent with ALWM)? Okay then. *hands @Keb a drink*

I will agree with that. I just wish that we’d get one PoC who is fleshed out since we have *several* white characters who are highly fleshed out at this point.

I agree. But Cinderella, Ariel and Aurora don’t count as being “highly fleshed out” just because they made cameos in S4. But I do strongly agree that secondary minority characters seem to fade into the background (cough Mulan cough) while their white colleagues at least get to make cameos. (Though as @MatthewPaul pointed out, Mulan not being in S4 might be down to actor unavailability).

I’m nervous for that because I don’t know that I trust A and E to actually cast someone of Arab origin.

Me too! Cyrus, despite being part-Latino and therefore a minority, was nowhere close to being Arab.
