It also sounds like Bae goes straight to FictionalLondon first and then NL. So the BF didn’t lie. I wonder if Neal and the BF will ever have a face to face. They were in the same scene in S/B and T but they didn’t interact.
Are we so sure that this version of London is fictional? Obviously, on the one hand, the setting is a fictionalized version of London, this being just a story. Yet, in the play, the setting was “real” London in so far as Peter Pan is supposed to have flown from NL to Earth — not some alternate dimension of Earth.

😀 😆 Doing a happy dance!

ParticipantWould Captain Hook actually be Wendy’s dad, or would Colin, the actor, simply also portray Mr. Darling? In the 2003 version, the same actor, Jason Isaacs, played both Captain Hook and Mr. Darling, but that didn’t mean Captain Hook was Wendy’s father. It was just one actor playing two different roles that were distinct and not one in the same.

ParticipantI believe Bae would have come through 8 years after Curse Day, which is Oct. 23, 1983, which is also Emma’s birthday. Neal’s supposed birthday is March 23, 1977. Neal would have been about age 14, having not aged while in NL.
1977 + 14 = 1991.
1991 – 8 = 1983.

I think what we will see is a kinder, gentler Hook as he relates to Bae as a boy. I agree somewhat about the “mentor” idea, but I think something happened to damage that. When Neal said Hook’s name in Manhattan, it didn’t sound like he was saying it in a good way. Maybe Bae found out about Hook’s plan for revenge against Rumple, Hook wanted him to join him, and Bae refused?
That’s what I think, too. Neal didn’t seem too worried about Hook after he attempted to kill Rumple. Neal just casually left Hook behind in the storage closet without a second thought.

Participant“What happens with him, Wendy and the Darling family is the emotional touchstone of these last two hours,” said Kitsis. “Hopefully, it will inform who he is as a character and also [establish] another land, which is, hopefully, not what you think it is.”
Baelfire could become the next Peter Pan. Hopefully. *Crosses fingers* Perhaps the shadow actually belongs to him, and he has yet to seize his destiny.
Meaning, prepare to eventually plot a course for what the show bosses dub “Neverland-adjacent.”
I wander if “Neverland-adjacent” refers to physical proximity to NL or Neverland itself but just with another spin (like a parallel-dimension NL).
(Awww-fully cute fact: Emma reminds Neal of Wendy, Kitsis shared.)
Awwwwe! Gushes Emma reminds Neal of Wendy! Could it be because Neal is also grow-up Peter Pan? 😉

Participant“You see Emma [Jennifer Morrison] really suppressing her feelings. It’s obvious she still holds a torch for Neal; it’s obvious that he still has feelings for her,” Kitsis said. “She’s so scarred. It’s hard for her to open up her heart … I’d like to explore that and I think next year we’d love to explore what happens when other people find love
You know when Eddy ships Emma and Neal, it’s cannon. 😀

I posted this in another thread just before, but it fits with this discussion, so cutting and pasting….
What Is The Home Office?
In the clip, Tamara talks about sending the magic beans and Regina’s black diamond back to The Home Office for analysis. The creators promise fans will learn what The Home Office is and what they’re after, but not why they want it over the next two episodes.Seeing the term “Home Office” crammed together 3 times in one paragraph reminded me of Jane’s tweet from a couple of months back…
…maybe it’s nothing, but I’m just sayin’, it reminded me of her tweet. There’s no place like The Home Office?Nice catch!
