What does this even mean? Maybe it is GOAT’s kidnapping Henry. I’m don’t know what to believe anymore.

What is sad Baelfire holding? In my opinion, it could be a portrait of his mother, Milha, which Hook kept on his ship all these years. I can just imagine Hook telling young Bae about how his dad killed his mom. So sad for Bae! 😥

Maybe spellbinding = devastating. If the curse’s fail-safe is activated, it puts on spell on SB so that it is no more. 😕

I have a feeling that Hook is a bit of an antihero. Yes, he’s a scoundrel pirate, yes he’s done shady things, but this is a man with depth, and his lady-man ways are really a mask for his pain. He is starting to see that his obsession with revenge is empty and unsatisfying. He is turning into a more sympathetic character before my eyes, kind of like Rumple did in S1. Killian Jones is a feeling man who has compassion for lost boys and a soft spot for a certain feisty blonde woman. Despite my annoyance at him for nonstop innuendos and for hitting Belle (really wrong), I think what I see in Hook is potential for growth and even acts of valor and heroics. Plus, he's going to save the day in 2×22 by offering everyone safe passage on the Jolly Roger.

I always have wanted Mr. Gold to choose the right path, but I’ve just doubted he would. Now I’m more of a nervous wreck about it than I thought I’d be. I think Mr. Gold will make the wrong choice, which will cost him his son in 2×21, but perhaps by 2×22, he’ll try to atone for it by going after Henry. This “game-changer” between Rumple and Bae just doesn’t sound good. It’s going to be a long two weeks and an even longer summer. 🙁

    From QoH

Hook: The Dark One – he must be stopped. You spent more time with him than anyone. There are rumours of a magical weapon that has the power to kill him.

He knows about something…but we don’t know if it’s the dagger.

Thanks for that refresher. Rumors doesn’t sound like concrete knowledge to me. Perhaps Bae let it slip, perhaps without meaning to, that his father could be killed by some means, but he didn’t name which weapon would do. That is why Hook sought out Belle’s help for more precise information, but she couldn’t help him. That is when Cora filled him in on the pesky details.

    Bad Company
The producers promised a “very honest conversation” between Rumple (Robert Carlyle) and Belle/Lacey (Emilie de Ravin) in “Second Star to the Right,” which will also play into the prophecy about Henry (Jared Gilmore) somehow being his grandfather’s undoing. “Right now he’s … clearly on a bender with Lacey, he’s clearly abandoned his son. Our characters like to repeat their own mistakes because I think we as humans constantly repeat our own mistakes,” Kitsis pointed out. “The villains this year are all trying to go on the straight and narrow and none of them can seem to get off the bottle, and so … I would hate to find out, if [Lacey] heard about this prophecy, what she thinks about letting a little child stand in the way.“

That sounds really foreboding and really bad for Grandpastiltskin’s relationship with his son and with Henry. Rumple is siding with Lacey, who brings out his dark side. 😕 Can I have one of those cookies, please? 😥

What if FictionalLondon is Neverland-adjacent? What if instead of NL, we find ourselves in this 19thC. London where Peter still comes to visit and we only see NL in Hook’s flashbacks.

*I don’t know how I feel about this idea*

    Could be.

“What happens with him, Wendy and the Darling family is the emotional touchstone of these last two hours,” said Kitsis. “Hopefully, it will inform who he is as a character and also [establish] another land, which is, hopefully, not what you think it is.” Meaning, prepare to eventually plot a course for what the show bosses dub “Neverland-adjacent.”

So, we not going to see the actual Neverland, just a land close by to Neverland. Maybe we see a shadow version of Neverland where lost souls go, kind of like the netherworld.

SPEAKING OF WHICH: IS SOMEONE GONNA DIE? | It sure sounds like it — and “perhaps” in this week’s episode, Kitsis teased.

Could be Baelfire. Perhaps his soul gets sucked out and sent to this shadow version of NL.
