Well, to tie it into what is happening in FTL of the past, I think Keith may be another part of the Robin Hood mythology. Guy of Gisborne? Sheriff of Nottingham? One of the Merry Men?
Yeah, I think Keith’s part of the Robin Hood myth. My guess is he’s the Sheriff of Nottingham, who pretty much had it out for Robin Hood. I believe Keith isn’t a very likable character, so I doubt he’s a Merry Man.

Once upon a time filming in Steveston…set up for nighttime firepit scene tonight! #onceuponatime http://instagram.com/p/XasWT6xzU4/
I think the dwarves might try and burn the beanstalk fields, kind of like a “scorched earth” defense against Tamara and Greg trying to grow magic beans of their own. It’s comparable to when the Russian burned down Moscow rather than allow Napoleon to capture the city.

There were no bicycles in mr Gold’s shop before. And in Manhattan there is a picture of a (red) bike on Neal’s wall with the word Ride under it, that made no sense to me. Bicycles make a perfect birthday… Can someone tie that in to a childhood story/fairy tale?
Help me out here!
I believe we’ve seen bikes in Mr. Gold’s shop in the last few episodes of S1, but they’re not always present. Let’s see, well the Wicked Witch of the West was certainly riding a bicycle when the tornado came to Kansas (at least in the old B&W version). Could be another nod to Oz, which is supposed to appear in S3.

Nope, there were 2 distinct casting calls: one for “Keith” and the other for a thief.
A Thief, who is male, 30 years old, brave, honorable and steals magic from Rumpelstiltskin; and Keith, who is 35, bitter due to a hard life, and likes to chase women. http://www.spoilertv.com/2013/02/once-upon-time-episode-219-roles-being.html

ParticipantYes, I love the Charming-Rumple bromance! 😀
As for Emma, no doubt she struggles with her feelings about returning to the EF, since her last experience wasn’t exactly pleasant, what with ogres and what have you. I think something major would have to force her land to want to leave SB. Perhaps the arrival of more outsiders to SB or Henry being kidnapped to Neverland would be motivation enough to get Emma on Hook’s ship. Pun not intended there. 😉
I think the FTL flashback must be very early on in the Rumbelle saga, since it sounds like Belle had yet to tame the beast. Perhaps we’ll see how she managed to have a good effect on him as she convinces him to spare Robin Hood.

ParticipantNot gonna lie; Rumple looks like Lacey’s concerned father-figure here, rather than her jealous boyfriend. I still feel bad for him though.
Keith is definitely a player; said so in his casting call.

ParticipantHere’s a spoiler concerning Tamara and Hook:
Matt’s Inside Line: Where’s Hook?
If Once Upon a Time‘s Tamara basically has been lying to Neal about everything, then she also possibly lied about Hook. Any scoop on him? –@onceuponamirror
Your hypothesis would seem to be sound, about lying liars and the lies they tell and all. As for scoop on Hook himself, I can promise you’ll never guess where he next turns up. http://tvline.com/2013/03/28/scandal-greys-anatomy-person-interest-spoilers/"That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. Hopefully, that’s all it is. *rocks back in forth seeking comfort* But why would Rumple hold a wand over Henry’s head, especially in front of Baelfire? Is he just lighting the candles on the birthday cake?
Here’re a couple more photos. It must be Henry’s 12th birthday party. Also, I wonder what Rumple is pointing out to Charming:

They better take the entire crop with them or else GOAT will use them. But since you need drama GOAT will also find another way to follow the Jolly Roger since Tamara obviously wants magic pretty badly.
If the cast realizes Tamara and Owen are up to no good, I hope the main cast would have the good sense to take the entire bean crop with them. Yet, I’m afraid if Tamara survives the S2 finale, then she’d eventually find a way to the EF or Neverland. I’m still wandering why Tamara wants magic. Does she want to steal it for some evil power trip or does she want to destroy all magic? She said to the Dragon that she wanted to make sure no one else ever found out about his magic. Why?

Cora was pretty powerful person and if she could only come by the beans or a curse like Regina did then I wonder how people would be able to follow them unless Owen makes more beans? ❓
Interesting. Gregor Mendel is a very significant name, since he is considered the father of modern genetics due to his experiments on pea plants. If Owen/Greg turns out to be a sinister scientist, he might be able to cultivate another plant, even if the core cast takes all the beans with them. In theory, all he’d need is an off-shoot of the leftover beanstalk. So, even though it might take another harvest season, he’d eventually be able to yield another crop, which would spell trouble for the fates of all magical lands.
