ParticipantI think it’s odd they introduced Anastasia right after they announced WishRealm!Hook has a missing daughter and in the same episode they dropped some pretty big Tangled hints. My money is on Anastasia.
How though? Lady Tremaine and WishRealm Hook didn’t seem to know each other in EF 2.0. You’d think they’d remember each other if they’d had a kid together.

ParticipantYeah, I wish A&E hadn’t stated such a purposeful parallel between Henderella? and Snowing. They’re completely different and I like that. I think a Snow 2.0 would be boring and they’ve left a lot of room for Ella’s character to grow, which I also like.
I still find it difficult to consider Cinderella a real “heroine” for Henry after she seriously considered murdering him or that that poor innocent guy for that matter. While the heroes of Once have been accused of being boring, I’ve always found it a lot easier to root for the characters who protect innocent life than the ones who destroy it.

ParticipantShe told some SQ fans during a meet and greet that she’s given a “script” of what she can and cannot say at cons, ect.
There probably is a “script” about what to say at these cons, but why does Jen have to abide by any script now that her ABC contract is done?

ParticipantYeah I don’t either. Is she part of the royal family? Normally Lady T and her kids are noble but not royal–it’s actually kind of a big plot point to the Cinderella story that LT wants her daughters to marry into royalty.
If it turns out that Lady Tremaine is also Rapunzel then that could complicate the narrative, too. Of course, it depends on whether or not OUAT follows the Disney version Tangled.

ParticipantThis weekend is ouat nj con time and yesterday there was a Cs panel and someone asked what would have happened if neal has lived
Jen’s reply is as evasive as it is telling. “He was obviously a very special character to Emma” sounds like the biggest understatement in the show’s history. She clearly can’t say what path the show would have taken if Neal had lived to a room full of CS fans because the truth is that CS never would have continued if Neal had still been in the picture.

ParticipantThis was the first ep where I’ve really had issues with Ella/Jacinda. I know they’ve established that being impulsive is kinda her thing. But with that other stuff, like going to murder the Prince, or quitting her job, or even wanting to run away with Lucy, I can justify that stuff. But burning the petition? Like, has she met her daughter?! In what universe did she think that Lucy would be OK with her doing that?! And in the flashbacks, did she honestly think that any greater good would come from going to see Tremaine in the middle of the night? And then she was gonna kill that guy even though she couldn’t kill Henry? I mean, RLY?
Jacinda is cursed, so I can understand her giving into her step-mom’s intimidations the way that MM gave into Regina’s intimidation during the first curse. That would explain Jacinda being quick to burn the petition. Yet, I dislike how defeatist Ella seems in the flashbacks. Why would she let her wicked step-mom boss her around like that — enough to seriously contemplate cold-blooded murder of either Henry or that poor man? Are we supposed to believe Ella’s guilt about the death of her step-sister is so strong that she would really help her step-mom murder someone just after she learned her father had been murdered by that snake? I don’t think so! Snow White would never have tried to murder an innocent even if it meant bringing Daniel back to life. Snow wouldn’t even take an innocent life to save her own mother from death. Yes, we saw Dark Snow bent on revenge to kill the Evil Queen, but she was cursed after she forgot her memories. And Snow did kill Cora in SB but only to save the lives of her family members and spare the town of Cora becoming the next dark one. The writers are making it a lot harder for me to root for someone as morally spineless as this Ella turns out to be though.

ParticipantIt’s clear the writers really like the significance Anastasia’s name, which means resurrection. Yet, I’d say it’s unoriginal at this stage. We had Anastasia being resurrected in OUAT in WL. Now they’re doing the same thing with Anastasia 2.0 only mixing it with Regina and Snow’s story about Daniel’s murder at the hands of Cora. All I can say is that I hope the reason Victoria blames Jacinda isn’t because of the same dumb reason that Regina held Snow morally accountable for Daniel’s death. I always hated how Regina misplaced the blame of Daniel’s death on Snow White, who was just a little girl, when Regina should have placed the true blame on her mother, Cora.

ParticipantOuch! Those ratings are low. I’d say cancellation is imminent but hopefully after a proper resolution.

ParticipantI’d say it’s pretty clear that that cemetery was magic-ed into Henry’s path to throw him off course because he’s starting to get close to Jacinda and Lucy.
Interesting! Maybe the curse automatically generated the graves when “it” sensed his belief growing. Yet, how? I thought there was no magic in ALWM? I sense a plot hole.

ParticipantThe BTS picture of Emma Booth and Colin is interesting. I wonder if perhaps there is going to be some “twist” in typical Once fashion where the villain is actually a misunderstood anti-hero and the heroine is actually a villain (e.g. Peter Pan and Captain Hook). Mother Gothel could actually be Wish Hook’s daughter who was imprisoned by Victoria (aka Rapunzel).
