I wish at least one question would have been asked about Captain Hook. I’m one of those fans, who really likes a particular character a lot. I think fandom turns into a job, when you are placed in a position to worry about what’s going to happen to your favorite. For the writers to not appreciate that position, is a situation where I believe there are blinders which prevent a healthy perspective on, and appreciation for a fan’s point of view. With Colin O’Donoghue’s leg and everything, I’m concerned about whether this may have changed any plans about how things will pan out for Hook, and whether we’ll still see Colin around on the show next season. I already loved Once Upon A Time before Hook, but when he arrived, it changed the show forever for me. That’s when I stopped being a “watcher”, and turned into a “fan”. I would have never cared enough about Once Upon A Time to even think about having a twitter page. I would have never taken an interest in who “The Enemies” are, if he had never come along. I would not have even thought about joining an online discussion forum, and would not have had a chance to contribute to all of the wonderful conversations we have here.

As for the finale and season 3, I know Neverland will be involved, and I know Captain Hook would logically be assumed to be involved in some way (Neverland without Captain Hook?), but who is to say what form Captain Hook will take where that’s concerned? Personally, my wish is to see Colin active with the show, in a present-day setting. It will break my heart if he leaves Once. I think if he did…I think it’d kill Once Upon A Time for me. I love this show. Hook is so redeemable, there are still so many possibilities, and I just hope I’ll still have something to love about it when everything pans out.

I’m not worried about Captain Hook. He’s the anchor of so many fans’ viewership, I think it’s safe to say he’ll be around again. He may have suffered an injury, but he’ll be back by the season’s end.

Dahlia: Once Upon a Time scoop please!
While the only answer Colin O’Donoghue would give us when we asked if he’s filmed any scenes in Neverland yet was a coy smile and a nervous deflection, the show’s creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis revealed that the two-part season two finale episode titles are “Second Star to the Right” and “And Straight On ‘Til Morning.” Hmmm…

He’s also got the earring and pendants.

One of Hook’s necklace pendants looks to be a mimi crocodile (Rumple) and the other is a skull with crossed bones (death)! He must wear them to remind him of his quest to skin a crocodile, which he very nearly succeed in doing!

“Seductive” doesn’t necessarily mean sexual though. It could be seductive in the sense that Rumple has discovered a desperate soul and seduces her with the possibility of power and wealth.

I agree that “seductive” doesn’t have to mean sexual, but given that kiss we saw in “In the Name of the Brother” I think we can make a very educated guess that Cora’s and Rumple’s relationship was much more than a platonic one.

There was also this spoiler form Entertainment Weekly:

I know it’s hard to read, but Rose confirms Cora “might” have a love affair with Rumple, which I believe means she does!

Was it the same article that said we’d see Henry do something he never has before? Don’t remember where that was though. Emma’s magic doesn’t seem like the type you need a wand to wield from what we’ve seen. She IS the magic wand.

Here is that spoiler about Emma and Regina going magically head to head:

Regina and Emma Face Off With Magic
It’s all too brief, but it’s still beautiful. A tense moment in “The Miller’s Daughter” sees Emma and Regina go head to head in a magical battle. Emma is only starting to tap into her power, but this short-lived moment is super-charged with possibility. at a glance, I’m going to say that whatever’s happening in this scene, it’s not romantic. it’s the look a father has when he’s giving away his daughter.

Maybe it’s the denial talking, but I agree with this. In that one pic, he’s sitting in front of her, not kneeling to propose. There’s another pic of him sitting in the chair, so my guess is that’s how he pops into the room. Then she walks over and takes his hands and they have a, “Thank you so much for making this happen,” “Oh, my pleasure, dearie, you’re gonna rock this kingdom, my little apprentice,” type exchange.

I hope you’re right on this, and on second glance, Rumple just appears to be sitting, rather than nealing down in front of Cora. Yet, I still think Cora and Rumple had a romantic relationship, rather than a platonic, father-daughter dynamic. Rose McGowan, who plays young Cora, has confirmed that she seduces Rumple, so we know there’s going to be some sexual tension between them.

    Here is that spoiler:

    From E!Online:
Thomas: I’ll take some Once Upon a Time spoilers!
In the March 10 episode “The Miller’s Daughter,” Rose McGowan kills it as a young Cora and we get to see how Regina’s evil mother became the power-hungry person she is today. We’ll also see her first meeting with Rumpelstiltskin, which is, in a word, seductive http://www.eonline.com/news/390148/spoiler-chat-scoop-on-revenge-community-hart-of-dixie-once-upon-a-time-and-more

I really don’t think they are going to make Rumple Regina’s father, that family tree is already so messed up. I do think there is a possibility that Cora may lie to Rumple and tell him that Regina is his, but then the truth is reveled in the end and it was only Cora manipulating Rumple because she knows how much he misses his son and it’s “playing on the monsters weaknesses” as he said to Belle in Skin Deep, a line I once thought was just for that situation, but maybe reflected something that happened with another woman, i.e. Cora.

Whether Cora and Rumple’s sexual rendezvous means Rumple is Regina’s birth father remains to be seen. I don’t wish that to be the case, but we might be left questioning Regina’s true parentage by the end of the episode, rather than knowing for sure who her father is.

    ETA:

Also, that pic of Charming, Nealfire and Emma with swords at the ready is made of awesome! Not convinced that’s a wand Emma’s holding to Regina’s throat, I think it might just be the nearest pointy object she could grab to threaten her with, to hold her back from going to Cora, who appears to be spelling out (pun) all her machinations and gloating about her victory a bit prematurely.

I think Emma is indeed holding a wand. I read a spoiler recently she and Regina are both going to use magic in the episode(s) coming up.

Here’s the clip where Baliee talked about her prep for the role of young Snow White and Ginny Goodwin commended her for her portrayal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vry6smDzu1A&feature=player_embedded

I thought Bailee was wonderful at showing a distraught, saddened Snow White on the cusp of womanhood. She was both childlike and far more mature for her age all in one, and I believe that is down to Bailee’s acting chops, which were wonderful. Her face is so animated, and while some might call it overacting, I think it’s emotional and vibrant. She had me in tears several times, especially in those moments where she was mourning the loss of her mother. 😥

And Bailee had Ginny’s expressions down to a tee. Just compare these two GIFs.

Meghan may not necessarily be in this ep, even though she’s in the cast list. She’s a main cast member, so should be in the cast list in the press release for every ep, whether she makes an appearance or not, right?

Media people that have already seen the episode have confirmed that she is in it.

Maybe Ruby’s in the back room with Gold, taking care of him, then? She’s certainly not present in the final battle, as the pictures show.

Well, since she is a werewolf, Ruby could be babysitting Henry with ferocity.

I think I know who dies in Miller’s Daughter…..however……I don't think it's what we expect in a “death”, so to speak.
Everyone go back, and re-watch the panel from Paleyfest. They gave us a lot of hints, and among them, I think they might have let the cat out of the bag.

I think the death isBelle, but not her, but rather her personality. I think that this “death” is why we will get Lacey. In the episode “Lacey”, I think that might be when we find out exactly what this character is like. My theory is that at first, Lacey seems to be a sweetheart, but only until her true colors come out in the episode entitled “Lacey”.
I could be wrong about this, but my instincts are talking to me. Let’s see if they’re right!

I posted something similar in the spoilers section for Lacey. https://oncepodcast.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=89&t=3084#p43025

George could always be Henry’s brother, maybe like through their fathers mistress, and rumple convinces him to take the kingdom that “rightfully” belongs to him. This would set up for good revenge on Cora. And would be ironic for George to over throw the king and later himself be overthrown

    That’d be an interesting twist!

So here’s the cast from the press release. I have gone through and marked out the only ones that we haven’t seen filming since this episode (Not including the ‘Welcome to Storybrooke’ flashback). And we know it’s a major character so I’m not including the pretty much cameo cast. Needless to say, there isn’t a lot of options….

“Once Upon a Time” stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as Evil Queen/Regina, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David, Emilie de Ravin as Belle, Colin O’Donoghue as Hook, Jared S. Gilmore as Henry Mills, Meghan Ory as Red Riding Hood/Ruby, and Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold.

Guest starring are Barbara Hershey as Cora, Michael Raymond-James as Neal Cassidy, Rose McGowan as younger Cora, Gerry Rousseau as father, Joaquim de Almeida as King Xavier, Eva Allan as Princess Eva, Zak Santiago as Prince Henry and Sonequa Martin-Green as Tamara.

And the promo said ‘One of their own’…. I have a really bad feeling about Ruby.

Noooooo! Not Ruby! That would seriously break my heart. Let them have the cricket for all I care, but I must have Ruby! 😥
