Great idea for a thread! I can’t really make out the poster in the first photo, but I think at the top it contains some nonsense words: Sled Bland. A quick internet search didn’t reveal anything with those words. In the second photo, there is a poster with a skeleton that looks like the Grim Reaper (associated with death) above the red sign with the number 13 (which according to superstition is unlucky). The number 13 is also repeated as the locker number, making me wonder what’s in the locker. The cards appear on the locker to be a royal flush from left to right in ascending order: 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace, straight in Clubs, like you’d find in a winning hand in a game of poker. Maybe the combined symbolism suggests that Baelfire/Neal gambled and cheated death. Baelfire associates his father, the Dark One, with death and destruction, and yet, ironically Bae/Neal managed to escape the fate of death for centuries after he went through the bean hole. How? Could he have gone to Neverland, a world without time? 💡

Although Nealfire knows about Emma having his son, he doesn’t know that she gave him up for adoption yet. I wonder if we are going to see that on screen? Also, if someone doesn’t punch August in the face for what he did to Emma, I will be very annoyed!

Please let David punch Pinocchio in the jaw, first for taking his place in the magical wardrobe, and then for making Neal leave his teenage daughter pregnant and alone.

Could the Seer prophecy lead to Rumple’s obsession with finding babies ? (Cora’s…Cinderella’s…Regina’s…then Ashley’s)

But in those instances, all the babies were girls and the prophesy said a boy would be Rumple’s undoing. So, I don’t think that is what lead Rumple to traffick babies, but I do think he was looking for a magical apprentice to cast the dark curse for him, which is where Cora and Regina fit in. With baby Emma, he needed her, as the product of true love, to be the savior and break said curse. With Ashley’s baby, Mr. Gold needed baby Alexandra as leverage so that he’d get Emma to agree to do a favor for him. He could glimpse the future and so could tell how each of those girls would fit into the puzzle that is the future.

Also, in “Manhattan” there was that exchange between Rumple and Baelfire in which Rumple wanted to turn back the clock so that Bae would become 14 again and forget his painful memories. To this, Baelfire exasperatedly exclaimed, “Fourteen! I don’t want to be fourteen, again! Are you insane?….Take away who I am? No thanks.” Neal likely spent centuries stuck in perpetual adolescence, and probably had to work really hard to grow up by staying in our land.

I think this reveal lends more credence to the theory that either August or the Blue Fair is the author of Henry’s book. August somehow knew about Baelfire being the reason Rumple created the dark curse in the first place, which the BF could’ve told August. I’d like to see Baelfire and August interact some more to see how much detail he knew.

Yes, this could well be the case. I think August is the one who brought baby Henry from Phoenix, AZ, to Storybrooke, ME. Also, August meddled to make sure Baelfire didn’t distract Emma from her destiny. So, indirectly, August/Pinocchio could be responsible for Henry going to SB, Emma returning with Henry to SB, Emma breaking the curse, and Emma eventually leading Mr. Gold to Baelfire.

In addition to the spoiler from the promo, there were several hints in Manhattan that made me think Nealfire could also be Peter Pan. First, Rumple said that his son had been on the run for a long time. Also, when Rumple offered to turn back the clock and make his son 14 again, Neal had a funny expression on his face and said, “14, why would I want to be 14 again?” Neal likely spent centuries stuck in perpetual adolescence, and probably had to work really hard to grow up.
