ParticipantThe little girl could very well be Alice.
Also, I think the creepy nurse from Belle’s psyche ward may be the Queen of Hearts. Regina did give her the red rose, after all.An edit to this post: The severe nurse was played an actress named Ingrid Torrance. She is not the Queen of Hearts we’ll be seeing in episode 17.
I’ve since discovered that the real Queen of Hearts will be played by an actress who’s making her debut to OUAT: Jennifer Koenig. This knowledge discredits the theories that either Regina or the nurse from the psyche ward are the Queen of Hearts.

ParticipantIt’s certainly hard to tell which way it is. I just think it’s interesting that in the photos below, it appears as if Snow is looking longingly/regretfully as Prince Charming is carried away as a prisoner by King George’s men. Her lip is evidently bloodied, as if she’s been in some sort of struggle.

ParticipantFirst photo of EQ and her mother, Cora, from episode 18:
Series Creators Kitsis and Horowitz have stated that evil is not born, it is created. Barbara Hershey will appear as Cora in a multi episode arc that will play out into season two. She has an interesting connection to Rumplestiltskin and may have a dubious agenda of her own. Her story will reveal just why and how Regina became so evil and cold hearted.
“Girls say they’ll never grow up to be like their mothers, but evil comes from somewhere,” says executive producer Edward Kitsis. “Cora would look at the mother from Black Swan and think she was weak.”

ParticipantThere is a more comprehensive summary here:
“Mary Margaret hires Mr. Gold as her attorney when Emma is forced to arrest her for the suspected murder of David’s wife, Kathryn. Meanwhile, back in the fairytale land that was, Prince Charming sets out to stop a determined and unhinged Snow White, whose memory is still clouded by Rumplestiltskin’s potion, from assassinating the Evil Queen.”I think that Snow White is carrying a bow because she plans to kill the EQ. An “unhinged” Snow White may shoot Prince Charming with an arrow, because she doesn’t recognize him. Yet, it appears to me as if King George’s knights are responsible for that. It seems like Snow is trying to shelter him with her body in one of the pictures. It looks as if the knights take him prisoner in the second-to-last photo and then leave him tied up in the woods to be eaten by wolves. Also, she may later come upon him in the woods at night (bottom picture) and help free him.

ParticipantYes, I agree that Rumplrgoldfan has some very good insight.
What I thought was interesting… was how bothered Regina was by the fact that Kathryn was clearly beginning to think for herself and was separating from the ‘character’ that had been created for her in Storybrooke.
I recall Kathryn said to Regina, “What they have is real; it’s true. My marriage to David it just was like an illusion. I don’t know how it happened, but it was never real.” Kathryn was beginning to realize that the memories she were false–an illusion. She is starting to break away from the curse. To me this parallels what Prince James said to the siren, “I don’t want an illusion. I want reality or nothing.” In OUAT, one theme that keeps appearing is this idea that reality is better than illusion.

ParticipantI wrote on another thread:
I think it is quite interesting that according to the show’s creators, David and Mary Margaret are NOT the keys to breaking the curse. On why ‘true love’s kiss’ hasn’t broken the spell on David and Mary Margaret: ‘I think it wasn’t an “aha moment” for them because the curse hasn’t been broken yet,’ Kitsis says. ‘And clearly they’re not the keys to breaking it, they were just the keys to making the savior [Emma, played by Jennifer Morrison].’
My take is that even though I think David and Mary Margaret really do love each, I think the fact that they are both cursed means neither can break the spell. All of the characters from fairy-tale world, except for Emma (who escaped before it took hold), are cursed. My theory is that the hero of the story is the one who is unaffected by the curse: Emma. In fairy-tale world, the curse is broken by the non-cursed party: Prince Charming woke up Snow White, who was cursed when she ate the poisoned apple. Princess Katherine, with the help of Prince Charming, freed her love, Frederick, who was turned to gold by King Midas. Belle nearly freed Rumple by kissing him, until he rejected her advances. As the creators said, I think Emma is the key to breaking this particular curse. My reason for thinking so is she was never under the hold of the curse.
