ParticipantI don’t think the writers are trying to turn Belle into Snow. I think they’re trying to give Belle her ultimate dream before she gets captured by Regina. Belle always desired fun and adventure, and the girl had more bravery than she knew what to do with, but she had no place to channel all that positive energy. Her father groomed her from bith to be a perfect little duchess, then she gave herself up to Rumpel and became his servent in order to save her village. And even though they eventually fell in love, the fact remained that she was still a caged woman. So, I’m glad Belle got the chance to spread her wings and go out on her own. 🙂

ParticipantThis episode was amazing!
Favorite Moments:
-Snow and Charming’s afternoon delight.😆
-Mr. Gold and Belle’s picnic (even though it got interrupted by a Storybrooke crisis…again)
-The big reveal that Archie was actually alive! THANK YOU JESUS!
-The first scene between Regina and Emma. Not because it was sweet, but because it was just so deliciously awkward.
-Seeing Rumpelstiltskin again. We haven’t seen him in his usual impish form since “The Doctor.”
-The scene between Snow and Regina in her cell. I loved how Snow was willing to give Regina a second chance to redeem herself. Too bad she didn’t take it though.
-Regina’s almost-execution scene. I loved how unrepentant and dramatic she was in that scene. And I loved the way Rumpel lurked in the background like a demon in the shadows.
-THE PROMO!!! 😮 😮 😮Least Favorite Moments:
-Cora being Cora. I hated that she framed Regina for Archie’s “murder.” That was beyond cruel.
-Hook’s kind of dense. “Why did you cloak my ship?” Dude…so Rumpel doesn’t jump out of nowhere and blast you into a million pieces THAT’S WHY! 😆
-Too much of the same old Regina sob story. It’s becoming a bit suffocating. But I did enjoy seeing her as her usual sexy Evil Queen self again. Her costumes in this episode were pretty amazing too.
-Not enough Belle. I’m hoping the writers correct this error with next week’s episode.Loved this episode! It had a perfect balance of all our main characters and the actors were magnificent. Lana Parilla, Robert Carlyle and Ginnifer Goodwin in particular. 😉

ParticipantAwesome promo! Too bad it didn’t show any scenes between Belle and Mulan. I’m excited to see Belle but her bravery on display. And I love what she screams at Regina while she’s behind the bars: “I will never stop fighting for him.” Rumpel, you lucky bastard.
😆
I hope no one gets hurt in this episode. It looks like the big rivalry between Rumpel and Hook is finally heating up. But unfortunately, that means poor Belle is at risk for being caught in the crossfire. Ugh! Why won’t people just leave that poor girl alone? 🙁
Great promo! Next week’s episode looks AMAZING! 😀

ParticipantThis list disappoints me a bit. I love that the 6 main characters have received so much screentime, but a lot of my favorite supporting characters have been pushed to the sidelines. I hate that Mulan and Aurora have received more screentime than Belle, Ruby, Jefferson and August. I feel like the writers have been trying so hard to push these new characters on the audience, but at the consequnce of ignoring characters that we already love.

I’m not saying it excuses him. I’m just saying he is a villain, so it is only natural that he would do villainous deeds. 🙂 Everyone is just so surprised that he would do something horrible like that–of course he would. He ripped Aurora’s heart out and worked with Cora of all people.
I don’t think the concern is over Hook, it’s for Belle. Minor characters are always at risk for being killed off. Graham, Archie (possibly), and even little Henry was at risk for being killed off last season. So, I think people are just nervous because they don’t want anything bad to happen to Belle. 😉
Exactly. I’m not the least bit surprised that Hook would do this. My main worry lies with Belle. She’s a series regular, but still a minor of enough character that she could possibly die at some point. So, when a character points a gun to her face, I get nervous. But I’m not surprised by Hook’s violent behavior, I’m just concerned for Belle’s safety. I have an unhealthy attachment to that girl. 😳
