We know Rumplestiltskin had both sets of memories early on. Will we get a taste of how that came to be in this flashback?
Kitsis: This episode is really Regina-centric. Whatever Mr. Gold knows in this episode, he is keeping to himself.*Murmle* Is this a hint eddie & adam are going back on the whole he knew nothing till Emma told her name thing? I thought that would make more sense from the start, but hey they said it. Well I guess it wasn’t set in stone…
[adrotate group="5"]spinninggoldParticipant“He clearly doesn’t still love Cora”… True, moment she said it was over we saw a glance of vindictive Rumpel that ripped out is wife’s heart… only that was not an option.
BTW that was the second time he asked someone if they really loved him, just before they died (basically at his hand, because he put Snow up to it). I wonder because she said yes if that is gonna gnaw away at his conscience… Because he just admitted he was full of love, not hate…It’s the Dark One that consist of hate.
And what I think the writers tried to do was make a paralel between Cora And MilahspinninggoldParticipantZombies = not dead. Johanna, friend of Eva, deserved it…. I forgot to mention,(did in the other thread) I think she is completely psycho, so normal reasoning does not come into it.
I mean : “I’m not wicked”, please.
Just saying… she does horrible things and then justifies them. She is terrific at that.spinninggoldParticipantOk I’m gonna throw it out there… Because it would make such a nice plottwist. But in theater Peter Pan is always played by a girl, it’s tradition… So what if Peter is a girl. Then it could be Tamara or Ariel even.
spinninggoldParticipantXavier could have known that the only person in the realm that can spin straw into gold was Rumpelstiltskin (good chance he already asked Rumpel) so she had to have learned it from him.
And to Cora, Xavier was worth more alive then dead. 5th in line for the throne, remember? You can avoid an awefull lot of bloodshed if you can use the current King as puppet. All she had to do now was declare Henry heir to the throne.
Somehow I think Cora dislikes bloodshed and that is why she takes out hearts. It keeps people alive but controlled, which she prefers. As long as she does not kill them she can tell herself she’s not wicked. And the few she does kill, well they deserved it (<- How I think she reasons, not how I think)spinninggoldParticipantI think the answer is in the first thing she says: ” I don’t like what that enchanted box is saying about me, I’m not wicked” I mean, hello???
The woman is delusional. She is the type that believes in her own lies as she is telling them and that’s why everybody believes them. That’s why Snow trusted her with Regina’s secret, and Daniel thought she wanted what was best for her daughter right before his heart was ripped out. Because she really means it, right before she goes psycho. In that line of thought she probably was convinced she loved Rumpel. It’s just not what you and I would call love, and it was more about power than love for her. He promised her the moon, so to speak, power beyond what she could hope for. Rumpel handed her dreams on a golden platter and for that she loved him. That’s not love
And Rumpel loved her, because he felt like he finally had someone that understood him, or so he thought. For Cora love was equal to taking, not giving. If you look at it, it’s not that different from Milah, that loved Rumpel for the security he brought, but then ran off with the first flashy pirate that came along. Both were with him for what he could give them, not for who he was.
The Corrumpel relationship was as toxic as hell…. but well, they were both bad, so neither one even considered this. It didn’t cross their mind
And then there is Belle, who never asked anything from Rumpel (except to be the man she knows he can be), and who loves the man that he is. She gave herself to him (from the start even) and never took anything. TWUE WUVE (I’m gonna make myself cry here)spinninggoldParticipantIt was posted in both simultaniously…
I am so excited, I love that ring… If only a chunk of moonstone that big was in my budget… Then again, not sure if the stone in the ring is real… It looks so different up front…Gotta look into other stones like water opal too (even more expensive)
spinninggoldParticipantYes you did ! Mr Carlyle’s tweet. https://oncepodcast.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=72&t=3190 But maybe a thread that is entitled the ring would be more logical
That moonstone poisonring is gonna be important… secret compartment with magic, I tell thee

I do think there’s pretty good chance it has something in it,but I don’t think it would save him.Otherwise they cold have just used it in Nealfire’s apartment instead of commandeering a pirate ship.
He couldn’t, just like the magic did not work at the airport (when the ring was right in the shot, BTA) I’m telling you, that ring will save him… Well if Emma can get the magic to work, because he is weakening FAST and can’t do it anymore…. I;m guessing that’s this clue:
