Root of all guilt Rumple’s dad! All others are only guilty of being trapped in a Fairy Tale Catch 22. My advice to them pipe down and learn to live together, if they can’t then they’ll punish themselves far better than anyone else could.

Clearly a behind-the-scenes photo given the lamp to Josh’s lower left. The set dressing leads me to think that the scene takes place in a Lost Boys camp based on the various odds and ends in the background. The fact that Emma’s wearing a black sweater now instead of the grey tank top may indicate a certain level of initiation that she’s undergone while in Neverland a la Luke’s experience on Dagoabah where he moved from a grey garment in ESB to all black by ROTJ.

I would equate soul mate with true love based on the fact that Daniel was both to Regina and I think its fair to say that David is both to Snow and vice versa.  Adam Horowitz addressed why Snow couldn’t perceive David’s poisoned state in a twitter post on Oct. 22 he was asked that very question to which he responded: “because Charming is ACTIVELY preventing her for knowing. Snow had no reason to do that with the apple.” That being the case the connection seems to be operative when one of the true loves in question let’s their guard down.  So presumably Emma, Neal, Rumple, Belle, Regina, and Robin are likewise susceptible.

Ironic is it not that he thinks of home only to be put in contact with the family.

I don’t think Henry needs protecting from Rumple. Henry is now at the age where he was about the same age as Baelfire when he fell through the portal. So it’s kinda like Rumple can start over with Henry

The problem is that disregards the prophecy about Henry being his undoing.

I have to ask how Regina was able to see through that deception. My bet is that dollars to pesos a part of  Rumple wanted to be deceived.  But that makes me wonder if Regina has some special gift that we’ll learn about next week.
