Just had a realization about Zelena’s backstory. Zelena mentioned that she was given up by Cora got me thinking so I went back to the and realized that Rose McIver is back as Tink in It’s Not Easy Being Green. Anyone else think that Tink loses her first gold star for meddling in Cora’s other daughter’s life?

The Rapunzel bit takes place during the lost year hmmm, interesting. At least that helps narrow down the possibilities of who the hooded figure is. Makes more sense now that its Zelena or a narrower chance of it being Rumple doing her bidding. Of all the main characters David is one who comparatively speaking we know about only in broad strokes. Looking forward to some insight into his character, beyond being the archetypal model hero.

Rumple is the one in the hood!!!! That’s why he wanted to be in the cell, so that he wouldn’t be controlled by the Witch and since Regina was casting the curse he thought he’d be scot-free. He’d be free of the Witch in the Land w/o Magic, he’d find Bae and Regina would be strung up from her apple tree and all would be well.

OK, first)
clearly the hooded figure is keeping Rapunzel captive and is the same one stalking David in the SB forest. My two-cents is on Zelena.
Second) David dancing up a storm with Emma? (A nightmare I suspect)
Third) Rumple goes Gollum and the implication is he is servicing Zelena’s curse via his dagger.

The symbol on the floor of the barn is reminiscent of an alchemist’s circle. The fact that it is divided into quadrants lends credence to thoughts that it refers to the four cardinal directions on a compass. Might be way off here but numerology could be instructive here the outer ring consists of 12 geometric figures arranged 3 per quadrant the inner ring four geometric figures likewise with the innermost ring. Perhaps a connection to the 4 witches of Oz? The 12 outer figures might also correspond to the number of seats at the round table in King George’s castle which coincidently in 12.

I think that’s an unrealistic expectation given the nature of the plot. If your expectation is public apology those are just words. If we are to judge by her by actions, she sacrificed the one good thing in her life and everyone was saved as a result. Ultimately her actions during the season 2 finale and season 3 midseason finale show her innate goodness and let’s not forget that the dwarves, Archie, Granny and the rest supported the decision to save Regina by sending the trigger through a portal. They likewise witnessed her sacrifice in cancelling out Pan’s curse. If I were in the shoes of one of the minor characters I would be impressed by this selflessness and sacrifice and would see Regina in a new light.

What I thought was so very strong about the scenes bet. the two was the fact that all that has passed bet. them has given Snow an emotional intelligence that her younger EF self didn’t have. Granted it took the curse for Snow to know how it feels to lose a child and be overwhelmed with grief that the child doesn’t know who she is. But that shared experience is one they can meet with on an equal footing. The fact that Regina let in her in for a comforting embrace and Snow’s defense of Regina from the monkey show the love she has for Regina and is (in my opinion) desperate to have in return from the only mother figure she has left.

Over at Vancity check out the posting for Dec. 5, 2013, the photos lend credence to the theory that Regina’s outburst was staged. The photos show Emma coming out of the Community Center and rounding a bend to talk with Regina. Their body language doesn’t seem adversarial (a little cold but not overtly hostile). The description says that following their conversation they enter together. Seems to me that the events play out this way: Either the scene in the photos is Regina and Emma hashing out a gameplay followed by what we see in the sneak. Or it immediately follows the sneak and they return inside to calm frayed nerves by explaining how the curse couldn’t have been Regina’s handiwork.

YES! I totally agree with the theory that Emma and Regina are actually working together, that its a fakeout…if I remember correctly there was this picture in TV Guide of Emma and Regina talking with one another in what looks like the same clothes. As for the green pendant, maybe that’s what is keeping Zelena from turning back into green and of course as mentioned before, contains her power. gee great minds think a like !
I’ll second that opinion, Adam has also posted a few tweets that make this theory sound more like its the case.
