ParticipantWell if that wasn’t sufficiently vague and brief. Interesting that Henry Sr. will be making an appearance almost certain it will pertain to the events surrounding his untimely death (or sacrifice if you will). Likewise with the doctor and nurse that ensures the events surrounding Henry’s birth. I have a sneaking suspicion that the EF flashback will have something to do with Blue as well. That bit about the curse killing everyone makes me think that Pan is going to amend the original curse. I also wonder that as it was Regina who cast the curse it’s a possibility that she has it within her to do something against it. That whole business of standing in front of the group dead center in the promo, raising her hands to the heavens to cast a spell plus that curious look on her face (gears cranking to life in my mind).
Another thought with the green smoke coming out of the well (where things that were lost return) makes me wonder if that isn’t the Witch’s way in as has been speculated.

ParticipantI’d take into account that the differences being noted about the shadow might only be because one is seen in daylight and the other in night.

ParticipantI may be going off the deep end here, but I’m getting the sense that Blue is dead in the strictest bodily sense of the word. I’m also getting a funny feeling that the reason she nodded to the cricket, the “preparations” she was making, the reason Archie approached Regina in 2×02 to help Regina find who she truly is, the reason Cora doppelgänged as Blue, the reason Rumple took an interest in the Mills women, and why Blue tried to scare off Tink from helping Regina all point to one thing. That is in my opinion Blue is family to Regina namely a maternal grandmother and that is the source of Regina’s magic which I suspect would be far stronger if she had stuck to the straight and narrow. Granted the evidence is circumstantial but what me drove towards this were a couple of short blips on the promo for next week. 1) Regina casting an obviously powerful spell and having a facial reaction that if anything seemed pensive and tinged with sadness. 2) A brief shot of Regina with a tear in her eye (granted Regina’s tears have been shed like clockwork over the series) which begs the question who or what in this episode could elicit such a response? Of course all will be answered on Sun. (one would hope) and this theory may be put to bed, but all the same something is up with Pan wanting Blue out of the way and all these loose ends relating to Blue.

ParticipantCora needed a staff for her spell, but if the power to defend against the curse is within Regina that makes me wonder especially since the magic is white purplish/blue. Haven’t seen Regina cast anything in those colors before that I can think of.

ParticipantObservation:
1) Green smoke rising from the wishing well
2) Looks like Belle is going to think Rumple’s been destroyed.
3) Pan and Rumple in the backroom and the Unicorn mobile overhead hmm?
4) David Hook and others in building w/ stained glass windows Blue funeral perhaps?
5) Rumple and his father in the shop I think we’ve got another body switch coming, and we still have to resolve how the dagger gets back to SB.

ParticipantOn the subject of musical theme we should remember that iconic characters like Darth Vader have a theme w/ no lyrics and we all (I would hope we all) know when we hear that brass and percussion its for the Dark Lord. Theme music originates with the Wagnerian leitmotif tradition and the music need not be lyrical for the purposes of introducing us to a character’s personality or the perception that is intended for the audience.

ParticipantYeah, Snow does have a hypocritical streak that gets her into trouble.

ParticipantAbout time we got one, can’t say I’m impressed at all by Snow’s plan seems like she’s going off half-cocked (as usual). Wouldn’t it be a great twist if Snow discovered Medusa and Regina were one and the same. And that the whole story she told about being rumors about a Medusa was a plant by Regina so she could study the dark arts without interruption.
