I love that idea HE. it also creates suspense because hook could go either way.
in sneak peak, rumple is hearing voices. I hope the voices are the voices of his victims who have died and is a result of being in the afterlife. he deserves to be tormented by the voices of those he tormented.

Did anyone else find it odd that Emma seemed to taunt Hook about being afraid? Was it my imagination?

My way out there crack theory is that Hook took a page from the little mermaid. He got the ingredients but needed ursula to make the potion and help him to this land, but like the original mermaid, he needs the object of his affection to tell him that she loves him. Otherwise hook becomes one of Ursula’s lost soul. This is why he and Ariel are hanging out.

i liked the episode. I am finding that I am liking charming a lot this season. I liked that the show dealt with his feelings of having let Emma down even knowing it was the only thing to do. I liked that charming was taking a drink from a bottle. Looks like hook has rubbed off on him.
i feel bad fir hook. Colin said the same in an interview. Emma doesn’t treat him well. i really hope he didn’t give up the Jolly. It’s been his home for over 300 years. It has his logs, his books, his momentos of all his loved ones.

I wonder if Emma’s EF outfit will be a pirate outfit. I think that will be cool.
i can understand why Neal fans might upset that Hook bonds with Henry. It’s not about Henry having adults who care about him. It’s about the writers giving Hook screen time that Neal should have bonding with his son, and that neal and hook have been set up as rivals. given the show constraints, hook benefits at Neal’s expense and vice versa. if hook gets Emma and bonding with Henry, there is less reason to have Neal around. Same if it is Neal that gets Emma and Henry bonding. This is why robin bonding doesn’t matter because he us currently not viewed as a threat to the character Neal.
