Loved the twist about Cruella’s story. They did a change on their own stories.
I did think that Henry was pretty smart in this ep, cutting the rope on his hands and everything. Also nice that he gets some action.
Mixed:
I kinda understand the makeover thing. The ink was meant for writing a story so when it got spilled over Cruella it changed her outer look to be more like a villain from a story. But still it’s super weird. They could just say she painted it.
Least Favorites:
So Emma is going dark from still being upset about her parents, probably just a day or two after they told her they did a truly bad thing, and killing a women that for her knowledge was going to kill her son? Alright…
Rumple’s heart is going dark so his plan his… To do more bad thing that’ll make his heart go dark so at the end his heart won’t be dark. Kinda reminds me of Ana from wonderland, which also reminds me that WE STILL DON’T KNOW WHAT HAPPENDED TO HER!

It seems to me that what he meant is that all lands we’ve seen so far are storylands.
The Enchanted Forest is probably medieval Europe land. Now that I’m thinking about it, it is weird that when Rumple was a child everything looks exactly the same as how it looks when Cora was young, and how it looks in Snow’s time. Or Killian’s uniform from his season 3 flashback that looked too modern to belong to at least 200 years before Snow&everyone else’s time. They don’t have time too.
I think now the only question is if The Land Without Magic is also fictional. Maybe it is and the Author belong to our world and he is writing the TV show…

I think this is fake, Regina is only pretending to betray Henry. He would never give in to his mother if he thought she was evil again (remember season 1 Henry?). Also they both seem kinda unconvincing to me (“Oooh Henry now you need to give me that page I’m so angry”, “But mooom… Oh alright I’ll give it to you”)

I can’t believe you guys were actually right about this.
Maybe she wasn’t calm, maybe she tried to convince Regina not to take the curse because she didn’t want Regina to cast it and put the baby in danger, but also didn’t want Re3gina to know about the baby (because sure they were friends but like I wouldn’t tell Regina either if I were pregenent).
Or the writers didn’t think about this season’s plot yet when they wrote season 1 and are now ignoring what they originally did with her, which is the more possible option.

The good:
We finally know what Cruella’s powers are! And the dogs were cute
The bad:
I hate what they did to Maleficent. She’s now bratty and whiny, while in season one she was calm and elegant. Also Cruella’s power is weird.

The good:
I adore Regina hair! I loved her short hair in season one, and then in seasons 2 and 3 I didn’t like it because it was in this awkward stage when it’s not short but not long. Now it’s really nice. I also love Emma’s coat. I think it’s a new one, right? And then of cousre Regina and Emma working together is always nice. Oh and Regina is mayor again yay!
The bad:
Of course that although Regina got her job back, she’s trying to find that stupid author instead of, you know, being mayor and helping the people of Storybrook. And I still don’t like that author plot. Also Emma looks kinda sick. She looks that way since the begining of the season. It’s a weird makeup choice.

The bad:
There has to be a more sophisticated way to defeat magical creatures than to shoot magic at them until they explode. If really feels like a video game. And I’m tired of random things trying to destroy the town every 2 seconds.

I have this giant fic in my head about Ruby and Whale during the missing year but I can’t even finish writing the first chapter. I have all the scenes in my head but I just can’t put them into words… Maybe it’s because this is the first time I’m trying to write something serious.
I think I’ll try what PriceofMagic said and write only what they say first and then add all the rest of the things.

It was a good episode, better than I thought it would be.
Good:
The curse was beautiful. And the end got me teary.
The end of the Arendelle plot made sense, sort of. The magical neckless of wishing was weird but I couldn’t think of a way for Anna and Kristoff to be the same age as Elsa until this episode and it’s a reasonable explaination.
Everyone acted how I would expect people would act in a situation like that. I was sure they would be like “let’s all be together in the same room and hold hands because of our love” but everyone locked themselves up which is the smart thing to do.
Hans. I love this guy. And his line about rolling in gold…
Bad:
Doesn’t Will have an appartment? What is he doing in the woods?
“If it’s everyone else or me me wins every time” Really Rumple? Really…?
Why didn’t they lock up Hook? We know that he is controlled by Rumple but they don’t. And if he’s going to be his worse self he would probably try to kill everyone if Rumple didn’t controll him . Also they didn’t lock up Kristoff.
Why are you all morons standing there looking at the glasses with your eyes open?!? At least try to cover them or something.

I love this theory!
It’s way better than what the show is probably intending to do, which is never to mention her again because it was only a way to parallel the Emma/Regina thing and force the snow queen into Emma’s history.

Oh come on you can’t just break your own rules of magic hearts every time you want to. Being heartless does mean you feel less, that’s the whole point of it! That’s what happened to Cora, that’s what happened to Will, and Regina didn’t remove her heart “not to be vulnerable” she did it to feel her pain less.
