ParticipantWhen Robin’s death was first rumored, didn’t we theorize way back when that it could be so that the writers could find a way to bring back the Evil Queen? Looks like we’re revisiting that theory…
I much prefer the theory that bc of Robin’s death, Henry goes to New York, which then causes Regina to go to New York, which then causes her to take Jekyll’s potion and turn into her evil self. If Robin dies, and Regina willingly turns back into the Evil Queen, I will start flipping chairs.

ParticipantIt’s funny because I’m the opposite. I agree more with RG about Gotham than I do with OUAT. Man did I like Barnes this week. And I’m pretty sure he isn’t dead….
Liked:
– Nygma continues to be amazing. I am a little afraid of him being down there by himself though….
– Ms. Peabody is going to die at some point….just waiting for it. Strange will have gone too far and one of his monsters will kill her. But I continue to cringe every time B.D. Wong says her name.
– I really enjoyed Strange’s transformation this half season and how they are inevitably going to bring back everyone from the first half and potentially create quite the formidable set of villains. It just shows they actually planned out the whole season…which I can’t always say for OUAT.
– Liked the Mad Hatter tease…..although I thought we were going to see my second favorite villain this season (Clayface) so sad face.
– I liked that Barnes showed some fight in him. I just feel like this character has gotten much better since he was first introduced.
Disliked:
– Strange has made the same mistake twice now. I love B.D. Wong’s interpretation of this villain, but why on earth did he send out another famous killer and political face like Galavan? Mr. Fries last failed at killing Gordon and was seen to boot. And now same thing happens to Galavan. You would just think he would be more tactful here. Now everyone can put the pieces together that Strange is up to something.
– Man Penguin has been useless this season and his look when he saw Galavan should have been anger…that’s hes still alive. Not, Galavan me meet again type reaction. He already contributed to killing him last time. It’s not like he really missed out. He should be very angry Galavan is alive because now the man who killed his mother is still alive after all.
– Once again, lets send out basically the whole police force after Azrael and leave Jim in a cell completely locked up and defenseless…..what is Barnes doing? For protection? We know Azrael wants to kill Gordon. So of course he’s going to show up at the station. Except now all your officers are out in the streets. What would have been smarter is setting up a trap that revolved around Gordon and once Galavan took the bait, all the officers would pop out and surround him. Just dumb on Barnes’ part and he got a few of his officers killed for it.
But overall I liked this episode a lot. Very surprised in this season. Quite the bounce back.

ParticipantHey, a completely new motivation for Hades because why not? His character is all over the place, what does he even want?!?
We have been told he wants revenge on his brother Zeus. But we also know he does love Zelena. So the man is torn. And while in the UW, his goal was to try and keep everyone down there so they wouldn’t be able to thwart whatever plan he has once he gets back to storybrooke, which he said was to basically take it over and give Zelena what she always wanted.
So he wants revenge on Zeus so that he’ll be happy, he wants to rule storybrooke with Zelena so Zelena will be happy, and he wanted to keep the heroes down in the UW so they couldn’t intervene. Three motivations. Really not as all over the place as you are making it out to be. But yes, it has been a little challenging to figure out his true intentions because that’s the way the writers have been playing it. We are supposed to be unsure of where his true intentions lie. I think one of the brightest spots this half season has been Hades, so I definitely disagree with most of what you are saying.

Participant^ Could it be the “Ale” of … Something, to communicate?
Oh right, like what Merida used for her father, and Regina used in the UW. That’s a good guess.

ParticipantSaw this coming a mile away. And we didn’t really get the whole destroy magic story line (except for like a couple episodes) because they decided to do Pan instead. This is the story line they would have done in 2b and are doing it now. Hopefully replacing Tamara and Greg with Jekyll and Hyde.
When it says Rumple is “going after Henry,” it could just mean he, like Regina and Emma, he doesn’t want him to get rid of magic. It may not be anything malicious. Although it does say that Regina and Emma are trying to stop Gold from getting to Henry so maybe it is more dastardly than I think. And I would actually enjoy it if they bring back the prophecy and Gold’s undoing. I never feel like they fully resolved that.

ParticipantI also think it’s rather absurd that Hook’s dad could be woken up from a sleeping curse by a nurse he’d never even met before he was cursed. Really? He fell in “true love” with the nurse while he was in a comma (and his consciousness was elsewhere in the burning red room from S2, if we’re going to be consistent, which I know the snow isn’t). Likewise, it’s equally absurd that characters like Zelena and Hades or Ruby and Dorothy shared TLK after having only shared a handful of conversations, ever. True love at first sight? What? I know “love at first sight” is a trope that exists in traditional fairytales, but it never really used to on OUAT. Prior to S5, TLK actually meant something (e.g. Snow and Charming or Emma and Henry). There used to be high stakes involved and well-developed, meaningful reasons shown and explored why these characters really love one another. But now, whatever it means to share TLK really no longer carries much, if any, real meaning.
All of this.

ParticipantThe latter. The writers can say it didn’t end the way Emma thought–no heart splitting–but like you said, that’s not the real goal, the real goal is getting Hook back, which does happen.
Or could Robin’s death be what Neal was talking about? It would really just be annoying if that goes by the wayside as if it never existed. Like a nice brief mention of what Neal said to her in a dream would be really nice.
thedarkonedearie
ParticipantOh and this whole warning from Neal about it not ending the way she thinks it will……is that still going to happen or was that just empty words…kind of like Merlin’s warning to young Emma. I’m afraid they just wanted Neal in a scene and what he says in his warning won’t actually make sense. Because assuming Hook does come back, who cares if that’s not the way Emma drew it up. She still gets the man so how is that a warning? I’m just wondering if what Neal said will come into play at all or if I should just forget about it.

ParticipantIt would be quite the death for Hades if it was Zelena who had to do it to save her family. I feel like the options are endless. I honestly would just like to see some sort of decent fighting. We haven’t had any this whole half arc, so I’m hoping they were saving the budget for this episode. I don’t want just like some lame fireballs going around. Let’s see people flying and fighting to the death and let’s actually see what Hades is capable of, because other than making deals and talking menacingly, he hasn’t really shown what he’s capable of.

Participant(wish we had some pics from the past/flashbacks)
They probably don’t want to give them to us because Hades’ hair is going to be crazy and blue haha.
