ParticipantI really like the Henry/Camera/Neal’s NY apartment theory. They were all in a huff about trying to save Gold that the camera could have easily been left behind. Easy to plug it into a computer and print out on photo paper.

ParticipantHow many times, over the past few seasons, have we had theories that people thought were way out in left field but actual came to fruition? Why are we always so quick to shoot down a theory where there is nothing (canon) to prove otherwise? Isn’t everything with this show a possibility?
I’m not saying anything romantic WILL happen with Belle & Neal. What I am saying is don’t be so quick to shoot down the theory that it might. Neal is a full grown man, not a child and he will be suffering through his loss of Emma & Henry. Belle is broken and will need a shoulder to lean on. They both think Rumple is dead and will be going through tremendous grief. Wouldn’t be the first time people have turned to each other romantically for comfort. I’m more inclined to agree with Slurpez that it will be more like brother & sister but I’m not going to shut the door to K&H making it a romantic relationship. They are two wild & crazy creators and love to throw us for a loop.
Nothing is taboo with this show when it comes to relationships (other than the obvious which I won’t even mention). Anne Bancroft and a young Dustin Hoffman blew the big red X’s out of the water when they did Mrs. Robinson 46 years ago, back in ’68.
When you have two mature adults, both sharing hard losses and both having so much in common, it wouldn’t be a stretch to see finding comfort in each others’ arms.
Again, this isn’t my theory nor was I saying I believe this will happen. I was only suggesting the possibilities and saying we all need to be open to possibilities that haven’t been shut down by canon. 🙂
I really wish we’d explore more theories and look into them rather than cutting them off at the knees before they can even take flight. After all, the theories is what makes this show so enjoyable and what makes coming to this site so much fun. 🙂

ParticipantNeal and Belle…..nah. Won’t happen. They’ve made it quite obvious that Belle and Rumple are True Loves. Neal Loves Emma. When it comes to LOST (HUGE LOST fan here
)……..that was not an “anything goes” kind of show. Everything that happened in that intricate weave of a plot was for a reason. If it didn’t drive the plot forward or add to character developement, it wasn’t there.
Neal and Belle as love interests…..has no place in the show because there’s no reason for it.
The foreshadowing of Emma and Neal reuniting was in the Geronimo Jackson (LOST nod) sticker prominantly displayed on Emma’s car at the end of S3E11….just as it was in the the S1 finale and the S2 premiere.Ah, but Harley, you of all people should know that anything can happened. No one really saw Frankie coming, remember? 😉 Look how they twisted Peter Pan from one of the most lovable fairy tale characters to a vicious little imp that we all wanted to backslap. Then they went one giant step further and turned him into Rumple’s cowardly father.
Now, I’m not saying there IS going to be a romantic connection between Neal & Belle; what I’m saying is that I wouldn’t put it past them. Especially when they make a point of saying Neal & Belle will be connecting. Belle was NEVER his step mother nor was Hook EVER his step father. He moved on from Emma once, who knows, he just might do it again out of grief and despair. Same goes for Belle as in her mind, Rumple is dead.
I can’t box any character in at this point because we all know we’re heading into a game changer come March. 🙂

ParticipantRight on, kranen! That’s quite the stash you’ve got there. Best hide that otherwise Hook or Blackbeard might come looking for your treasures. 😉
What’s the book like in terms of stories and pictures? Also, what’s the seller’s name, I’d love to check their Ebay store out.

ParticipantTheGoldenKey wrote: Well, based on another interview where Adam & Eddy were asked if Belle and Neal would spend time bonding because of Rumple’s demise, Adam was quick to answer with a “Yup!” Have to wonder what one year of bonding together, in the EF, really means, if ya know what I mean. If Neal turned to someone else so quickly, following their return to the EF, that may help lessen the blow to NF fans as they may not see Neal in the same light anymore. Not saying this is what’s going to happen but with these guys, one just never knows.
Um, that’s not even a possibility in my mind. Not only would Belle never get involved with anyone after Rumple (a year or 30 years), to do so with his own son? No, she views him like a step son; she’s been devoted to him for decades even without having met him. There’s no chance of this happening. People can bond in grief, just bond period, without crossing that line……. I would think they’d be very close, but in a beautiful way. Adam and Eddy might as well end the show if they did this…….ick. Also, FYI, it was Eddy who said Belle and Bae would bond.
I think Neal’s a little old for Belle to be viewing him as a step son. She barely knew him up to and including the last episode. He’s not the little boy that Rumple had been describing, he’s a full grown man. Huge difference between the two. Again, not saying it’s going to happen, only saying that one should never say never when it comes to Adam and Eddy. Found that out through 6 seasons of LOST and 2.5 seasons of ONCE.
That’s just semantics, though – and Emilie/MRJ teased about a stepmother/stepson relationship. The point really is that whatever relationship they have is going to be familial only – and Belle would never (nor would Neal for that matter) indulge in a relationship with anyone, nevermind each other. Belle’s love for Gold is matched only by his for her…..and that’s an epic love; she simply wouldn’t do it – if necesssary, like Gold, she’d spend the rest of her life waiting to be reunited with him. AS to Adam and Eddy, I think we can say never when it comes to this. For one thing, they were not showrunners on LOST, they didn’t create it – they were just writers. For another, they know what they can and can’t get away with on this show; they’re not doing anything to hurt TL couples and Rumbelle would be destroyed if this happened, nevermind Belle herself.
Adam & Eddy may not have initially created the series LOST but they came into the show midway through S1 and were responsible for the story lines from that point on. They were also executive producers. The point is they are known for their twists and they follow THEIR story, regardless of the ships.
As for TL being destroyed because a relationship was sidetracked, MM being with Dr. Whale, David being with Kathryn, Rumple being with Cora, Reggie being with Daniel, etc., discredits that notion.
My point is that we shouldn’t be jumping to conclusions regarding story lines or characters. You might see Belle one way but that doesn’t mean that Adam or Eddy sees her that way or sees her relationship with Rumple that way. This is Adam & Eddy’s story and they will take a character down whatever path they feel is necessary to tell their tale. Anything can happen as we’ve seen throughout this series and I like to remain open to character changes and growth. 🙂
In any event, I’m moving on from this subject as I think we’ve jacked this thread long enough. 😉 Perhaps it’s time to get back to the subject at hand, the interview, rather than concentrating solely on Rumbelle. 🙂 Cheers.

They talked about Belle in that they had plenty of plans for her thus her character would be growing. So yes, I consider that growth of a character and their statements being somewhat confirmations that she isn’t leaving the show anytime soon.
Oh that, their usual talk. Thanks! Since Gold is apparently really dead and there can’t be Rumbelle anymore, I wonder what exactly they intend to do with her in the future.
Let’s not forget that both Pino/August was dead TWICE and brought back to life by being brave, selfless & true. I’ll never give up on Rumbelle.
Pinocchio was made of wood and turned into a little boy, that same thing can’t happen with Gold.
Sure it can. Wood or flesh, dead is dead and they brought Pino back twice. They said they are bringing someone back from the dead. We know it’s not Greg from the interview. Has to be Rumple.
