They left the possibility open because they didn’t show how Hook actually escaped her. If GOAT tased her, that should have finished her off, but we dunno that that happened. If she’s still alive in whatever form down there, I’d say she should have been taken back to FTL and restored to her former self. But if SB gets reinstated, would she go back to dwelling in whatever form in the basement again? Guess that wouldn’t really matter if there’s now potential for Maleficent flashbacks from the missing year in FTL.
They were clear about her having been killed by Emma back in S1 and that only her ashes remained but they did say that because Reggie cast a curse that Mal would protect the fail safe, her ashes took on the “essence” of Maleficent. Now, however you want to interpret “essence” would be the key to this.
My question is, now that the fail safe has been destroyed, does that mean Maleficent’s remaining “essence” is now gone?

Yep, it was reported they were calling him Henry offset to conceal his characters name I presume. Or something like that.

Now that Emma has a different set of memories on Once Upon a Time, I am dying to know who Christopher Gorham is playing. Can you give me anything on this? – Jacquelyn When last I spoke to the Once creators, they said that everything and anything they wanted out there on Gorham’s role was out there – meaning, basically nothing. But they did read the knee-jerk theory I posted… and, well, pretty much dismissed it. “Your speculation was very interesting, and we did enjoy it,” Eddy Kitsis allowed. “And we reserve the right to use it at a later date!”

Just a few things. 🙂
1) I’m behind on things so I’ve missed the part about WWW taking over Reggie’s castle and her wardrobe. Can someone direct me to the pics/interviews/information, please and thank you. 🙂
2) Re: WWW/Mal, a good friend pointed out that during S3x01, The Heart of the Truest Believer, Snow tells Reggie to undo her spell and bring back the mermaid. Reggie responds with : “And what? You’ll win her over with your Rainbows Kisses (OZ) & Unicorn Stickers (Mal)?”. Just another nod. 🙂
3) Regal, in my mind, if K&H had WWW/Maden planned for a long time, that would support the unicorn nod in S1x02.
4) Mal also had an orb on top of her staff where she kept the Dark Curse. It was similar to the one Jefferson brought back to Rumple when he went to Oz.
Both I think have merit and I’d be happy with either. Having said that, I’d hate to see them miss an opportunity like this to bring back Mal.
Just an afterthought regarding Reggie no longer having family. Have we determined that Henry Sr. was in fact King Georges younger brother? If so, wouldn’t that mean that Reggie still has an uncle? Or, was Henry Sr. a prince from another kingdom?

I really like this idea. And Mader and KVS look quite a bit alike.
Thanks RG. 🙂 Yes, they really do alike. I would love to see Mal back again. What fun the backstories would be of them together as sisters.

I’m of the thought and mind that Maleficent is the WWW’s sister. Grant it, a lot of great points were made in favour of WWW and Regina being sisters. However, can’t shake the feeling that it’s Mal.
1) We know that a dark fairy gave Snow the fairy dust and it was never confirmed that it was Cora. Besides, Cora was still in Wonderland at that time. Could have been Mal.
2) They say the WWW is related to someone on the show. That puts Mal in the running. To the best of our knowledge, Regina doesn’t have any family left.
3) We know that Mal is dead and Regina killed her. That would give WWW every reason to have business/vengeance with Regina.
4) In S2x02, The Thing You Love the Most, we see Mal with her pet, a dark unicorn. Interesting enough, there was a children’s classic series published as the “Little Unicorn” series, that included The Wizard of Oz. Funny thing, the illustrator of the book was: Greg Hildebrant. He and his brother, Tim, were famous for their LOTR calendars in the 70’s, Star War posters, Marvel & DC comics illustrations and Harry Potter board game illustrations. K&H would absolutely know about them and I’m sure even hung one of their LOTR calendars in their bedrooms or dorms. 😉 So, a nod to the “little unicorn” that Mal kept as a pet could have been a clue about her sister. We also know that K&H throw in tons of literary clues/nods/easter eggs and there are some that we still have yet to find, even going as far back as S1. So, it wouldn’t surprise me if Mal’s pet was a clue.
Personally, I think this would give them a great opportunity to bring back Mal. Fans have been wanting it and they can do backstories between Mal & WWW.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it is. Mal was one of my favourite charactors. 🙂

Crack theory that will never EVER come to fruition but I couldn’t help but think of Doctor Who and his hand.
Behind the scenes, just before Rumple chops off his hand, the Tardis appears in this shop. The Doctor steps out (David Tennant, the 10th Doctor) and tells Rumple to go ahead and chop off his hand because a new one will regenerate in it’s place. They then use the hand to regenerate a second Rumple. This second Rumple is the one who steps outside to accept his fate. S3x12 will open with the original Rumple being dropped by the Tardis in the Enchanted Forest.
Ah, The 10th Doctor and Rumple. Now there’s trouble if ever there were! Be still my beating heart! <3 🙂

Ah……feels good to be in a SwanFire safe place. 🙂 I don’t get to posting as much as I like to these days, but when I do, I like to come here because it’s home
Some of you will remember Gypsy on this board. She likes to frequent another popular fan site. She sent me a link to a thread last week and I couldn’t believe the hatred for Neal in it. Not just that thread, but spreading throughout the site. Someone was saying that Neal is actually a villain. No word of lie, a VILLAIN! People were supporting that and bashing the character like crazy! I had to jump in and post using canon to counter what they were saying (yep, they were even making up scenes that hadn’t occurred on the show) and then they went crazy over my suggesting that they were wrong because their arguments countered canon (confirmed tweets/interviews/podcast/script). Yep, even canon is wrong over there because they say Adam & Eddy lie. LOL! Someone from this site (not going to say who) even went at it and tore Neal to shreds and refused to acknowledge official podcasts, where K&H discuss Neal in great depth.
We all love to ship, I get that as I’m a SwanFire girl at heart and always will be. Having a thread with a ship is one thing; but when a board becomes nothing more than a ship fan site, that’s quite another. Especially when you start demonizing a decent character all because’s he’s a competing ship to yours.
Neal is listed in Wiki as a hero, he has proven himself to be heroic time and time again, and he is just a gentle soul that would never intentional hurt another human being.
I was thrilled to see Emma looking at that Dreamcatcher in the promo (looks exactly like Neal’s from his apartment) and even more so to hear them play Charley’s Girl, Neal’s song from when we first sat eyes on him in Broken.
Things may be looking optimist for CS right now but the game is far from over. I want to see Neal play hard core Hero this latter part of S3 and hopefully the writers do to.
