ParticipantIf he’s Henry Gale, I’d guess he might be Dorothy’s son, who she named after her Uncle Henry.
If he’s also someone who Emma is close friends with in present day, then he might be someone that our Henry would refer to as “Uncle Henry”.
It could be a good fit if the son of Dorothy Gale and the daughter of Snow and Charming were drawn together somehow in our world. If he’s heard stories from his mother about her adventures in Oz, then he could be understanding if Emma goes to him to discuss the crazy pirate man who is trying to tell her about the fairytale characters.

ParticipantHas anyone seen this one spoiler/speculation?
Plus: Christopher Gorham will play a mysterious character connected to Emma and Rapunzel.
If he is somehow tied to Rapunzel, maybe he’s Flynn?

We actually had a separate thread for this spoiler (can’t remember where…it’s around somwhere). Most of us wrote it off as false because the rest of the original article was full of misinformation.
EDIT
Found the original thread https://oncepodcast.com/forums/topic/tv-guide-whats-to-come/
You can read why most of us think this whole spoiler is bad reporting.

ParticipantIf that TV Guide spoiler turns out to be reliable, then it’d certainly be quite interesting for Chris Gorham to be playing Flynn Rider. It’d certainly be fitting, since Flynn is the fake alias for Eugene Fitzherbert, the thief from Disney’s “Tangled,” which is actually quite similar to Neal Cassidy being Baelfire’s alias, who is also a former thief. The only sure thing we know is that Chris is playing someone “very important in the life of Emma Swan,” and so he could be a foster brother, an old friend, or even another love interest. We’ve yet to see how Emma got her flower tattoo on her wrist, which is the same as the flower on her family crest. We’ve also yet to see what set teenage Emma on the path towards thievery in the first place, since by the time she met Neal, she was already committing grand larceny by stealing a car. Perhaps Chris’ character is originally from the same kingdom as the Charmings who somehow ended up in our world like Emma, Baelfire and August did; maybe he is the one who influenced teenage Emma to start stealing things in the first place, and he my have unwittingly influenced Emma to choose the same flower as is on her father’s coat of arms.
"That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. When you leave it, there’s this feeling that you can’t shake. You just miss it." Neal Cassidy

ParticipantI think they will age Rapunzel up. Her actress is 26 and couldn’t pass for a 14 year old

ParticipantThings do change sometimes in terms of the process between production and writing.
“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” -- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass

The fact that they’ve cast what is most likely her father leads me to think that they are keeping Rapunzel younger–between 14 and 18. It’s more traditional Rapunzel story to include the father.

SpectatorOk, this is Henry from Kansas or should I say Uncle Henry, I also wonder if he doubles as the wizard of oz too. I kind of hope he is Emma’s new love too at least someone close to her age and perhaps in her Era.
