Thanks for the press release. 😀 (addendum: I just went and looked. I’ve already seen that one under Nonnie’s spoiler link. I noticed they didn’t list the dancers on it. So, I guess they could leave off a name if they didn’t want to give something away.)

Re: no magic in SB. I don’t know that it’s entirely true. We see Cora use a little magic, that she says she has left, to pull the poison apple out of Jefferson’s hat. Nothing would surprise me. Maybe Snow doesn’t end up crushing a heart but August sacrifices himself as he’s wood anyway and doesn’t want to go living that way.

Anyway, as I said in a few earlier posts, I believe that it’s Cora who dies. I just thought it was an interesting twist and still do. The show is all about guessing and that’s what makes it so much fun. 😆

Prior to the curse breaking, you could only create magic from magic (enchanted objects), and it wasn’t a lot. She used whatever bit of it left to get the apple. She wouldn’t have had enough to be able to pull someone’s heart out. Creating magic from magic was also how Rumple was able to bring magic to Storybrooke via pouring the true love potion into the well.

We don’t know that. When she brought Jefferson down the vault room, she said it’s where she keeps her remaining magic and that she had brought magic with her, in this world, via her trinkets. However, it doesn’t mean that she couldn’t absorb magic herself. At that time they needed the hat to work thus the hat had to absorb the magic and not her. Obviously she had used all the trinkets before as they were drained and she had to rely on Daniel’s ring for the remaining magic. We don’t know how she used her magic before this.

Again, it really doesn’t matter in the scheme of things. It was meant to be an off the cuff, fun little theory.

August (Eion Bailey) is not mentioned in the cast listed in press release for this episode at all, so I doubt it. Also, why would his heart not be attached to him if he is still wood?

Love to see a copy of the press released cast list if you can provide the link. Tks 🙂

He was in town quite awhile before he turned to wood. Reggie could have easily taken his heart.

And I still doubt August would lose his heart like that. August was hardly ever around Regina, and he’s the type of person who wouldn’t let his guard down. Also, Regina couldn’t have taken his heart out without magic being in town. There was no magic until Rumple brought it in the Season 1 finale.

Thanks for the press release. 😀

I think it’s Cora’s heart as well as they made a big deal of pointing out that Cora doesn’t keep her heart within herself. However, another though has occurred to me. What if it’s August? This could be a great set up for 2×18, Selfless, Brave and True. In 2×17 we go into Welcome to SB. So, we probably won’t see modern day SB that Sunday.

Here’s what I’m thinking. Was trying to help Emma break the curse enough to stop him from changing? After all, he didn’t succeed in doing that. What if he gives up his life in order to bring Charming back? He’s still a wooden puppet. What if it’s his heart that Snow squeezes?

When he first was changed over to a real living boy, he was wooden and had drown. He was dead. Yet, Blue was able to transform a dead piece of wood back to a real live wooden boy. Would she not be able to do the same with a wooden man? We have seen pics of him, in 2×18 as a young 7 year old Pino with the SB residents, including Blue and Blue does have her magic wand back.

I just think it would make a shocking ending to episode 2×16, followed by going retro back to 1983 in 2×17 and then return to AWB/Pino’s story in 2×18.

    Anyway, just a thought 🙂

Well, I was sure they showed David with a wee bit of blood coming from a scraped goose egg on the left side of his temple.

While I am an opponent for the Bae is Peter Pan theory, there was something at PaleyFest that caught my interest. When the panel was asked about current characters on the show having Fairy Tale identities left to be revealed this Season, Adam & Eddy initially said no, but some of the cast said “well…kinda….” or something along those lines.

And the mention of new characters that still have to be introduced – I interpreted that as Tinkerbell and confirming that Bae is Peter Pan as well.

I typed that whole question and their answers to it out. LOL! A friend wasn’t able to open the link, so I went back and played this part and did a little dicta typing so I could forward it to them. Here is that whole conversation, word for word.

QUESTION: “We’ve seen Ruby is also Red is also the big bad wolf. Is there any other character that we’ve met SO FAR who’s alternative character hasn’t been revealed this season?”

ANSWER: Kitsis: “I don’t think so THIS SEASON.”

Then K&H, Ginnifer and Lana start with the Umm….hmmm….well…….oh……this season……..ummm…..welll……..this season?……….etc.

Horowitz to Lana: “Whisper it in my ear?”
Lana whisper the name in Horowitz’ ear and said “WILL BE revealed THIS SEASON.”

Kitsis: “I got to be honest we can’t remember where we are.”

Lana whispers in Horowitz’ ear again and says: “no one heard me.”

Kitsis then says quite loud and clearly “we’ll be going to a new land.”

So, from the gist of it all, someone that we have already seen, will be revealed as Peter Pan. Thus Kitsis ending with “we’ll be going to a new land”. Only fly in the ointment or twist would be Killian Jones being both Hook and Peter Pan. I seriously doubt it though. It’s Neal as no one else we’ve seen fits into the mold other than Neal.

After some of the stuff at Paley, I’m more sure than ever that Bae was in Neverland, and it’s got me so ridiculously excited. 😆

It has been such a long wait Phee that no wonder we’ve quadrupled our excitement 🙂 Oh, how I wish we could see Nealfire flying the ship just like in Disney’s animated movie! 😀

I don’t think Snow will use the candle

    1. Is because she doesn’t have the candle in the 1st place.
    2. Also, because she remembers her talk with her mother so the candle is out.:

    1. We don’t know that she doesn’t have the candle. Even if she doesn’t have it already in her possession, that doesn’t mean it’s not in SB. In The Queen Is Dead, they had Johanna finding one of Snow’s personal possessions in Mr Gold’s shop. There’s every chance that the candle is there too, and if they’re all gonna be there for this big battle, it’s not unreasonable to think that Snow may find it while they’re there.

2: Also in The Queen Is Dead, they make a point of having Snow lamenting how following what her mother taught her has led to a decent amount of misery and ends up concluding, “what if I’m the one who has to change.” They’ve set it up perfectly for Snow to do the opposite of what her mother taught her.

As my good friend Phee likes to say “WORD”! 😀

That’s right Gypsy. At PaleyFest, they were talking the upcoming ep. 2×17, Welcome to Storybrooke, Eddie Kitsis said” We are going to be seeing the first week of the curse……………and we are going to get more insight into what it was like that first week back in 1983…..”

So is it possible that David is the one who dies since he clearly gets thrown like a rag doll and Snow uses the candle over Cora’s heart to bring him back and that’s why he is getting up when he says “what did you do?”

Yes, this is what I was gonna say! Charming’s “What did you do?” would fit in quite nicely with the convo he and Snow had at Johanna’s grave. Snow was determined not to lose anyone else. She also listed off all the times she made the “right decision” and it led to heartbreak. He kept imploring her to remain good. So I think that Charming will be mortally wounded in the battle in Gold’s shop, and Snow will be, “Screw the right decision to not use dark magic. I’ve still got that candle.” Then she’ll use it to save Charming and kill Cora, and he’ll stand up and see what happened and be all, “What did you do?”

And if that ain’t a lesson in karma for Cora, then I dunno what is. She tricked Snow into taking the item that was ultimately used to kill her. Though I’ve really been hoping it would be Regina who kills Cora, I think that having Snow do it this way would be perfect poetic justice for the old witch.

Thinking the same thing. There’s a reason why they brought BlueCora and the candle into things. Snow is going to take a walk on the dark side and use that candle.
