ParticipantJust as we thought. Cora spins gold to help King Xavier save his kingdom from the threat of poverty, marries his son, Prince Henry, and reneges on her deal with Rumple. In turn, Rumple probably has King Xavier’s kingdom overthrown.

ParticipantHot off the press from PaleyFest. (Kitsis & Horowitz) Series Creators: “Won’t be seeing Pan or Tink this season but we might hear a reference to them” #OnceUponATime #PaleyFest
Certainly confirms what many of us have been saying that just because they said we wouldn’t see Peter Pan this season (14 year old Bae Dylan Schmid) doesn’t mean that we won’t hear about him from adult Nealfire. 😀 😀 😀

Things I noticed combined with what Jane has said. The lp and HER are moot points. The Star Wars aspect seems to be the most important part to consider . As I pointed out on the 2x17thread I think Ben and Owen are Greg and his father. They are both names of Father figures to Luke also another point is the Jedi are like Monks (monks with Lightsabers) Greg is named after a monk who studied genetics. The Jedi have a Genetic anomaly that connects them to the Force. The CC describes him as a character with a DarkSide. Another SW nod. The fact that is code CC name was Barrett is a connection to Andrea Barrett an author who wrote a book called Ship Fever which features Greg Mendell .
Like your way of thinking Spyglass. Kellyn1604 also mentioned the Ben & Owen connection. I never would have thought to link a monk to the Jedi but they certainly were monks. Good call! Love how Barrett fits in as well. Nods and clues seem to be screaming out Star Wars.
The plate number itself is not a clue. Merely a nod with the 138 to THX1138 (again George Lucas flick). However, Jane did say Pennsylvania is a clue. I did find out that the Star Wars: Where Magic Meets Imagination display is housed at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, PA.

As far as Blue and her memories: you’re right. There is no definitive moment to point to and go “Ah-ha! She has her memories,” but their might be hints in her open hostility to Rumple from “The Return” and the fact that she is supposed to be the most powerful “good” magic in FTL, yet she couldn’t do anything about the curse, especially given that Good always wins?? She’s either got her own agenda or really ineffective.
Let’s also not forget that in The Return, August went to see Mother Superior, and we saw them ending a tense conversation in whispered tones. That was pretty much the moment I figured that Mother Superior still had her memories. Why would Mother Superior be having secretive meetings with August? Unless they were meeting as Blue and Pinocchio.
Not to mention that sly smile on her face when Rumple first approached her from behind and just before she turned to face him. She knows.
Also wondering about that typewriter. If Rumple was able to enchant Bae’s baby shawl and it holds its magic in the real world then who’s to say that a typewriter can’t be enchanted? Some stories have a magic lamp that grants wishes, others have a tinder box that sends out magical dogs and some just may have a magical typewriter that tells you the truth and tells story book stories.

ParticipantI kinda axed this theory based on Greg’s age but I’ve got to come back to it. A few things made me reconsider it again.
That he is named after Greg Mendel the Father of Genetics is not a coincidence. This from Jane Espenson. So Father of Genetics is an important term. Thus, brings me back to him having created all the book’s characters.
Mendel was also a devote monk. An acquaintance of mine, over on facebook, told me her son stated that monks were known to transcribe actual events into manuscripts in medieval times (and he is absolutely right about that!). He said that K&H brought in a monk when they were writing Tron Legacy to make sure their story was spiritual. His thoughts are that this may indeed confirm the theory that Greg could be the book writer.
So, based on my original post, I’m leaning back towards this theory and will let the age thing work itself out. I’m sure there’s an answer. Still open to other theories 😀

ParticipantWow! So now we know that AWB’s typewriter is BIG though at times might seem LITTLE, it’s metallic RED because it’s SHINY and it’s company’s make must be called MYSTERY!
Jane, what the heck were you tweeting when you said what’s inside is “big………red…….shiny……mystery” and then later “little……..shiny……….mystery”
LOL!
