Glad to see one of my favorite theories is at least 50% accurate! Rumple occasionally referred to Bae as a “lost boy” and there were just WAY too many clues pointing to Neverland to be a mistake (the most important of which was the non-aging thing).
Kat, you are so on the mark! Rumple always saying Bae was Lost to him was one of the biggest CLUES! He first did this, back last February, in 1×12 Skin Deep when asked by Belle what happened to his son. When he used that term a few times, coupled with the fact we know Bae had just turned 14 (we hear this 1×08 Desperate Souls) it just screamed out Lost Boys, Neverland, Peter Pan to me! I’ve been on this bumpy bandwagon ever since.
I can’t wait to see NEVERLAND! I think they said we’d see a little of it this season. Going to be great fun! Tiger Lily, Tinkerbell, Mermaids & Pyrates!
I wonder if the first Wendy was Morraine, back in the Enchanted Forest? 😀

ParticipantI believe that Rumple’s undoing doesn’t mean destruction as in death. I think it means undoing as in reverting back to his real self, pre Dark One days. In my mind, I think Rumple will end up sacrificing himself for the sake of young Henry. Interesting that they made Rumple the Beast, who in the real story, dies and is transformed and resurrected by Belle. In Narnia, we see the White Witch use a dagger to kill Aslan who had sacrificed himself for the Narnians. The story of giving up one’s life in sacrifice holds no copyright because it’s the oldest and truest story ever told . So I would hope that we will see Rumple give the ultimate sacrifice, his life for Henry’s, and in turn we see the Dark One die, dagger is shattered and the real Rumple is saved, transformed and resurrected just as the Beast was.

ParticipantThat’s an interesting twist, especially in lieu of some spoilers and pics that are out there.

You were right all along! Glad I could be of some help 🙂 I've loved your theory since you first mentioned it to me last year 🙂 Good job!

ParticipantOnly those who were in OZ during Lurline’s enchantment don’t age or die. Humans like Dorothy and the Wizard would.

I think the writers made one crucial mistake there though…. If time is paralel… Then howcome we know the fairy tales… My reasoning was that because time was kinda blurry, some fairy tale creatures landed in the past and became story tellers. The Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Anderson, Charles Perrault. So I do believe that that’s a missed opportunity if that’s true.
I don’t know that time here, in the real world is parallel to the Enchanted Forest or Neverland. I think what they’ve showed us is that time between the Enchanted Forest is parallel to Neverland.

ParticipantI don’t think Cora and Eva are sisters. I think the Cora holds a lot of anger and resentment as she and Henry lost their kingdom. She is now determined to put her daughter Reggie on the throne and Eva is just an obstacle that needs to be removed.

They’ve already done the story of Snow White and Rose Red. It’s Snow and Red. That’s why Snow said they are like sisters. Rose Red was good as well and nothing like Cora.
Yeah I read the story and doesn’t Rose Red married one of the prince’s brothers or another prince?
Yes, they took care of an sick bear who turned out to be a prince cursed by an evil dwarf. Bear eventually kills dwarf, back to his real self, marries Snow and his other brother marries Red and they live happily ever after 🙂
We saw the story in Henry’s book a few times last year. The tight bond between Snow White and Red is a nod to that story.

ParticipantHave to say that I loved every single bit of it. My favourite moment was during Rumple and Neal’s 3 minute convo. As Bae was describing how he felt when Rumple let go of his hand in the pit, he said “choosing all this crap over me” and at that exact moment did a perfect imitation of what I like to call Rumple”s Royal Sweep.
We then see Rumple doing it with the Seer moments later. It just made me think of why they selected MRJ for the part. Like Bobby Carlyle, he likes to bring those little tweaks to his role.Least favourite? Reggie. She’s just sort of drab these days. Just not feeling the Reggie & Cora bonding thing. Hopefully that will improve next week.
