WHAT QUESTIONS WOULD YOU ASK IF YOU WERE THERE???
ANYONE GOING??.
Thanks for posting this NONNIE 🙂 You do so much for us here with all the info you post.
Sadly, not able to make this one. 😥 Gypsy and I, along with another friend of ours, are planning to go next year. Only wish they’d post their schedules and who will be there much earlier than they do.

ParticipantI guess this will be as close to the real fairy tale of Rumpelstiltskin that we’re going to get. Too bad though, I would have loved to have seen Rumple dancing around a fire, singing out his little song. 😆

ParticipantWe don’t know under what circumstances Rumple originally gave Reggie the Dark Curse. He did however, give it to her before all this. In the episode, he clearly clarified for her that she couldn’t hurt them in this land but that didn’t mean she couldn’t in another land and then he immediately left. He didn’t need to say anything more because she obviously put two and two together and realized she finally needed the Dark Curse. So yes, she knew about it before but had no reason to go to another land until now. That’s why she initially traded it to Maleficent and now needed it back. So no mistake was made.

More filming shots of the fight scene between Rumpel and Hook. Seriously, not sure who to root for here.
Methinks I’m gonna be TeamHook in this particular fight. Much as I love my boy Rumple, I don’t love seeing my boy Hook being beaten like that.
Belle’s holding what looks to be Bae’s cloak. If Hook’s baiting Gold about Bae, I’m going to have to cheer TeamGold.

I’m thinking that Henry Sr. was originally a prince and his father would be King Xavier. Cora brokered a deal with Rumple to spin Gold and marry young Prince Henry, only to renege once Reggie was born. Rumple in return made sure Xavier/Prince Henry lost their Kingdom and handed it over to either King George or maybe even King Leopard. King George seems more likely thus it being even more just that David take his kingdom away in return.
This would also explain why Cora was so obsessed with Reggie marrying royalty because she always knew that they were royalty displaced by a rebellion and replaced by maybe King George.
Yes, I was thinking the same thing. Cora wanted to be a Queen, and Rumple thought he had found the perfect person to enact the curse because of how ruthless Cora may have been. They make a deal and in exchange Cora agrees to give Regina to Rumple. However, she ends up tricking him, so he retaliates by making sure Prince Henry loses the kingdom to either King George or King Leopold.
I only hope that it’s Cora that really wants to be Queen no matter the consequences, because I don’t want another sob story about how her father was the one behind pushing her into lying about being able to spin straw into gold (even though I know in the original tale that’s what happens), and then it’s all Rumple’s fault for corrupting poor innocent Cora. I don’t mind if they show that she wasn’t as bad as she is now, but they don’t need to make her as innocent as they made a young Regina because the blame game is just going to become even more tiresome.
We usually do think alike AntBee 🙂 I also hope that the story only involves Cora and Rumple making a deal without any other outside influences. No need to see a boastful drunken father making up stories about his daughter’s abilities to spin gold. 😆

Rumple making Emma use magic. Snow wasn’t the only one feeling uncomfortable with that. It gave me the creeps. Emma having magic, and using magic is one thing, but letting Rumple show her how to use it even for just a moment – he of all people! No good thing. And what irony that then Regina is the one to tell Emma, all magic comes with a price. Well, Regina most certainly does know, and especially if it comes to Rumple.
I kind of like that Rumple is helping Emma. He too, is trying to redeem himself with Belle, and be a better person. Maybe this(using GOOD magic), and finding his son, is exactly what he needs! 😛
Let’s see … Rumpel taught Cora how to use magic – she likes to rip out hearts, kill innocent people, is nearly as manipulative as Rumple, breaks her daughter to turn her into what she wants her to be, so great teaching. Rumple taught Regina – who became the vengeful Evil Queen destroying most of the magical lands besides all the harm she did before to people. Rumple is really a great teacher.
Right, he only taught them magic, maybe manipulated them into to doing some things, still can’t and won’t blame him for all the wrong doings and choises of these two women, in the end they are responsible for what they did. But I don’t care, that he tries to redeem himself for Belle, he would have sacrificed Snow and Emma to save his own skin, and I’m convinced he still would do it any time it might seem necessary to him. He is still manipulative, and toying with people. Better person? He might be trying, but wouldn’t trust him to teach Emma the way of magic.
I don’t know. We’ve seen Rumple use magic for good when saving children from the Ogres Wars. He used it for good with Henry and his nightmares. Blue and her fairies use magic for good. So, I think it just depends on the state of one’s heart and the purpose of the magic. Maybe even the type of magic.
But then, we have Rumple, who started off with a good kind heart, get corrupted by dark magic. Yet, we have fairies who use it as a living and they seem unaffected by it’s use.

So Belle and Mulan know each other. Have to wonder if they were friends or foes. Also, what is Belle doing in China?
not china… more like an unexplored part of FTl… as for she is doing there, she as “always wanted to see the world” remember?
You’re right Marilou, I should have said Mulan’s realm. Will be interesting to see what went down with EQ and how she ended meeting up with Mulan.

Was just posting in the promo thread before about how I’m thinking it’s Hook that gets hit by Barrett’s car, based on who we’ve seen out in the forest in snippets thus far. It’d be sorta perfect if Peter Pan’s first order of business as he came barreling into town was to smash into Hook.
lol, now he just has to be Peter Pan.
Also, I doubt they’d keep Hook in the hospital for the rest of the season or at least most of it, but I think it would be hilarious if Barrett and Hook had to share a room together for awhile without Hook knowing Barrett was really Peter Pan. I could see Barrett being all chummy with Hook and wanting to help him out against Gold, and then Barrett ends up actually getting Hook in the end. 😆
LOL AntBee! I’m envisioning it now! The hospital scene brings on a whole new meaning when thinking about a Bucket List.
