In total agreement. Right now I’m very bored with his character. Hook was always bad and very flamboyant. That’s what I keep hoping to see. All they’ve done is give him an English accent (Jack Sparrow is soooo overdone these days).
Either develop the character or let him go.

😆 Kalliope! I know huh! There’s the delicate pluck in which one does not hurt the individual but controls them. There’s a rough pluck where one can permanently hurt or kill the individual. There’s the pluck & crush (no coming back from that one). There’s the pluck from a deceased individual where you can use their bodies as zombies.
As you said, who’d of thought we’d be talking about it all! 😆

I wholeheartedly believe that with the “lost” connections, Bae HAS to be Peter Pan. Lost boys, Rumple always saying “my son was LOST to me”, the importance to Hook to the series, etc.
Fairly certain that Bae is Neal. Here’s the thing that I just can’t make out. If we look at Peter Pan coming to our world, at 14 years of age, once the curse hit in ’83, that would now make him 42 years of age. Does Neal look that old? Ten years ago, when Emma was 18, did neal look 32? We also see the FBI wanted poster stating that his date of birth was March 23, 1977. That would make him 35. So if he is Peter Pan and did in fact come when the curse hit, the ages don’t seem to match up.
Now, did the curse destroy all the other worlds or are they still out there? Was it only FTL that was demo’d with a small piece remaining? If this is the case, then could Peter Pan have stayed in Neverland post curse, alone without Hook, Smee, lost boys, Tink, etc. Could that loneliness have led him to our world at 14, in 1991?
Just trying to do the math here so the age matches up. Any thoughts?

Rumple is around 300 years old. This is based on several statements from Robert Carlyle over the past year.
So, considering he would have been around 50 when he became the Dark One, that means Bae would have disappeared around 250 years. Seeing as he was 14 at that time, it would make him about 264 years old FTL time.
However, magic can transcend all time & space. So he could have ended up in our world at any time.
Like Phee, I’m also on the Peter Pan Theory bandwagon. Would explain him not aging. I do believe is that he will be a man in his mid to late 30’s. This is based on Mr. Gold thinking that AWB was his son. So if Gold is expecting an adult male to be Bae then it would make sense that the curse would have flushed out a 14 year old boy, Peter Pan.

I think Hook learned about the bean to Neverland from Cora (as The Queen of Hearts).
I think that’s a good question. How did Hook know about Neverland?
If Cora turns out to be the QofHs, he couldn’t have heard about it from Cora. Cora would have only ended up in Wonderland close to 2 decades prior to the curse taking place. Hook & Rumples story took place close to 250 years prior to that.

I just hope we don’t have too wait too long to see their reunion. Vampirefan12 tweeted Jane Espenson about Neal coming to SB and she replied “what makes you think he’s coming to SB?”. I’ve seen her tweet that to someone else as well.
I think we’ll see Emma fulfilling Rumple’s favour and reuniting with Neal OUTSIDE of SB before we see Neal in SB seeing dear old Papa.

That’s great Vampirefan12! I find Jane to be the most responsive to tweets. She’s got a great sense of humour as well.
I find her response to your last question interesting. Emma will be floored by other revelations. Reminds me of the statement from Josh Dallas about Emma in relation to Henry’s father “there is a certain percentage of this man that Emma knows, and a certain part that she doesn’t. She had some sort of relationship with him, but there is an element of surprise for Emma as to the fullness of who this man is.”
Kind of seals the deal about Neal being Bae.
