I don’t remember Dr. Frankenstein being such a womanizer like Whale is. In the new promo, it seems like he’s more interested about the possibility of dating a nun rather than trying to get “home” or address one of the millions issues they are facing.
In the 1970 movie, The Horror of Frankenstein, he certainly is portrayed as a womanizer.

ParticipantI still think Jefferson sent that postcard. If not Jefferson than the Blue Fairy or Henry (on AWB’s behalf). I think AWB is still a wooden man somewhere and eventually Marcus & Archie will find him. Once the Blue Fairy regains her magic, I’m sure she’ll deem his efforts of trying to get Emma to believe, as being valiant, good and noble and revert him back to human form.
Have to say though, that opening scene was the best for me in that episode. Still humming Charley’s Girl 🙂 Love MRJ!!!

Participant@ TheOnionGirl,
I agree. They also have Disney’s Frankenweenie coming out this October. They’ve done werewolves so no reason why they can’t do Dr. Frankie.

There’s already a thread going titled: Who is Dr. Whale: New Points to Consider, where ALL of these points/clues have already been discussed.
The connection between Regina & Dr. Whale is simply that a younger Regina got Jefferson to bring Dr. Frankenstein into FTL to revive Daniel. Yes, Daniel is the monster. We see this 23 seconds into the recent promo clip.
Again, please check out the other thread. You’ll find lots of interesting facts there.

A theory just dawned on me. At first I had thought Bae was the one in New York and August had somehow gotten the message to him. But maybe Jefferson had relayed the message! On the wall there may be a clue it said something about a hatter which was what gave me the idea. They both were fully aware of the curse and we don’t know the whereabouts of either… Just a thought
I agree soulsurf. I mentioned above that I believe there is a connection between AWB/Jefferson/Bae.and that Jefferson may have sent the card. When Bae followed that bean, it could have led him to many lands. Jefferson spent years taking other people to other lands. Makes perfect sense that there paths would cross.
In Hat Trick, there were stills of AWB outside of Jefferson’s house. The never did air any of that. Perhaps they changed their minds because they thought it was too early to show an AWB/Jefferson connection. Now, in the apartment, they show a sign that says “Cleaner & Hatters”. Seems very likely.

ParticipantMarilou, you thought he was Frankie from the get go! I agree, I had great fun following the leads and researching stuff. I loved the old horror flicks and monsters. Got all the old ones off of Ebay one year. Even Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein. Geesh, they had Frankie/Dracula/The Werewolf and the Invisible Man in that movie! LOL! Only two missing were The Phantom of the Opera and The Mummy!
