Keeper Of Tamara's Taser , Jafar's Staff, Kitsis’s Glasses , Ariel’s Tail, Dopey's Hat , Peter Pan’s Shadow, Outfit, & Pied Cloak,Red Queen's Castle, White Rabbit's Power To World Hop, Zelena's BroomStick, & ALL MAGICOUAT is usually really good in the costume department but they occasionally have moments like this (with facillier) where they aren’t actually trying to create a realstic version of the cartoon costume but instead are creating a carbon copy which doesn’t always work. They did it with Elsa, maleficent and a few others.
It worked with some (Ariel, Cinderella, etc) and not so much with others (Merida)
just some thoughts.

I am guessing its the same as what was going on with Naveen. Naveen was a prince who needed to marry in order to get wealth.
– Tiana wants love and is going broke.
– Facillier offers her a solution to both her issues. He will make it so that she marries a prince (gets love and romance) and that will solve her finance issues (she will be rich).
– It will turn out Facillier isn’t actually Facillier but actually someone in disguise who when revealed will cause Tiana to join some kind of rebellion. Possibly because Faciellier will be responsible for the death of her mother or something.

Also, Gothel only took rapunzel because of the healing powers of her hair to keep her essentially immortal. Why would she want Anastasia? Unless they are gonna make her tragic villain who steals kids because she lost her own
