Yeah, I think its referring to Hyde who is going to save all the people trapped in the realm of untold stories. Hes going to free them and get their stories told…or whatever it is they are going for. So hes somewhat a savior to them.

Bringing in Jafar might give them a chance to re-explore that if Aladdin and Jasmine have something to do with their story. I mean, itd probably get a line of dialog (Aladdin: “We freed Jafar and he hurt some lady in red dress and a weird accent. But shes okay now, ran off with some with like, freakishly large and mildly attractive eyebrows, named Will”) but more than likely I’m sure that will enver be addressed sadly

And they literally are an untold story since A&E said they wanted them in Season 2, along with Ariel, but didn’t get to do it. So I think its a huge chance they are who we will be seeing as we pointed out last year, we did see some vaguely dressed Arabic people in the crowds.

Being a tree changed Dopey’s appearance, so now he’s Michael Fassenbender.
But yeah this is all weird. Dopey’s a pretty minor character though, so I’m sure they will just give us a line of dialog saying hes okay or that he decided he liked being a tree more, or something.

It had the hype about having the first black Disney princess but it wasn’t a massive success
I don’t think that will stop them from including it. As you said, Hercules wasn’t that well received when it first came out either and it was on the show.
But given that Aladdin is a much bigger film and its already kind of been established in the canon (well, that Agrabah exist, that is) since th first season and in the spinoff, I think there is a much larger possibility that an Aladdin teaser would be coming up as opposed to a Princess and Frog one. I still think Aladdin is going to get an arc, while Tiana and the gang will get an episode. It’s season 6 guys, OUAT has gotta break out those unused characters at some stage.
