I mean, are they saying that other characters are going to be split into separate parts like how regina was split between good and evil, or do they mean metaphorically like they are going to explore different aspects of the characters while only regina gets magically split?

Dracula is an “untold story” since he was cut from the pilot. Very interesting.
I was going to suggest an alternate interpretation: Morpheus isn’t the god of dreams as in, ya know, the little mind movies we have at night. He’s the god of dreams as in our goals, aspirations, or wants for our life.
This could tie into this season’s arc because if these characters have never had their stories told, and have become completely disconnected from their old lives by ending up in some random lost world, they have probably given up on their dreams or probably can do nothing but constantly have “what ifs” in their heads while they are trapped in that realm, so Morpheus might be attracted to them for that reason. Like he’s feeding off of the dreams they wanted for their lives, or the what ifs they keep pondering.
I’m probably thinking too hard and that’s probably ridiculous, but swing at every ball, eh.

I don’t think really young. I think he’ll be early 20’s at the least, late 20’s at the most. I doubt he will be Henry’s age.
Unless he is, then he and Henry might just get into some trouble which would be cool.

Hmm… Neal, Mulan, Tinkerbell (she was Violet, right?) , Aurora, Merida, Young Ursula, Jekyll, Hyde, all had code names.
Liam didn’t have a code name though.But I think most major characters are given a codename to keep a surprise.

Morpheus could be the Neverland Shadow, the one who turned Peter Pan into a boy.
If you look closely Pan’s shadow and the shadow he encounters on Neverland aren’t the same (one has purple eyes, the other has yellow/white ones, they don’t have the same build, and the one with purple eyes speaks and says he rules Neverland) We know Neverland can be accessed by the dreams of kids, so that could be a connection. That shadow was obviously evil. And he had the body of young boy and the voice of an old guy. And he rules over an entire land where kids come when they sleep and dream.
Morpheus is the Neverland shadow. I am calling it.

Just noticed that there are little black bits floating around Hook’s heart. Why does the show not address this? Surely that would be more interesting to see Hook try and make up and redeem himself for his past mistakes instead of constantly seeing him fawn over Emma?Eh. I think its pretty much accepted that Hook isn’t 100% pure goodness at this stage. Judging from what others have posted in the recent comments in the Hook thread, I think we all agree that he is better as a character who is in the grey area, like Regina, but that the writers just aren’t doing a good job by writing him as if those dark parts don’t exist at all and ignore them.
I don’t think they will address it. It’s not something we didn’t already know.
For comparison does anyone have a recent picture of Regina’s heart? Is she completely red with no dark spots?
