What matt said. I’d say for them to truly be alive, they have to swap up the life of someone else to keep the balances. Just like when Neal resurrected Rumpel. So I guess this is an established mode of Dark One resurrection. One life for another. I wonder why no one had to die when Anastasia died…like twice.
Did the show just break the “dead is dead” rule fully?

Two hundred or so years of nagging DOs is a long time.
They probably were. Rumpel did say spinning gold helped clear his mind or something right? Emma did her whole dreamcatcher thing to ease her head. Perhaps the key is to get a hobby and eventually Nimue just stopped urking him when she realized his drive to get the curse casted and get back to his son was more powerful than anything else and I guess she’d have just waited until the next dark one came along.

This is a show that is on at 8pm when kids are still up. Why wasn’t it put on at a later time?
Things i’d classify as more innappropriate than OUAT come on at that time (Family Guy for example which has much more crude humor) But 8 o’clock on a sunday…I think most young kids would be in bed. Well in theory, not in practice 😛 I mean the next day is school so that’s why I would think that.
Plus OUAT has no graphic language, nudity, or gore or anything to give it a later time like say, True Blood or Game Of Thrones.

I thought, and hoped they wouldn’t, go the route that Merlin was Lance’s father. But who knows. Maybe.
The lady of the lake was just confusing for me. So…the siren isn’t the lady, Nimue isn’t the lady, but there is a lady of the lake afterall. Okay…. *shrug* idk. I really want to see her. I hope she appears and helps out.

Basically lol.
It made me feel weird that the portal was always there as well and to such a specific place like Hell of all places. I would have preferred that maybe Hook had to do some magical mumbo jumbo to create the portal rather than it always having been there.
I didn’t notice the ducks but who knows, maybe it’s foreshadowing

OUAT likes to do that with villains. The darkness is just an extension of her magic…maybe if she is no longer dark, the magic won’t be either?
