Anyway, probably the most nonsensical thing about this episode was Merlin’s “I can’t stop Vortigan cause killing would turn me dark”. There’s probably A MILLION other ways he could stop him, why are the only options to kill or do nothing?
Merlin could have:
-Froze him.
– Turned him into an animal.
– Imprisoned him.
– Taken his heart from Nimue and did some other non-lethal thing to him.
– Taken away his magic.
– Trapped him in the Hat (yes, remember the sorcerers hat? Yeah sounds like that could have come in handy!!)
Merlin definitely had other options than just killing.

I….really do not know and I hope it wasn’t just a one off character we are not expected to have questions about…. He must have been really powerful at magic… and he doesn’t look quite human at all… Idk. Something aint right about that dude at all. No way he is just a common dark wizard.

How long has she had that bun in the oven? She’s at least six weeks, of course but how long how has been since the little greenbean was conceived?
She is going to have a miscarriage in the upcoming episode and that will lead her to help Emma tether Excalibur to Hook.

Every second of her on screen! However I think her becoming the dark one was missing something, ya know, like…continuity. They told us about the darkness and the first dark one before and none of it fit into what we saw in this episode. So that miffed me off a bit.

Because she is the First. So that makes her Uber-Dark One, not just regular dark one. I am curious as to why Emma is more pale and not green actually. In the Comic con promo they put some glitter on her skin but in show shes just a little bit paler than usual. Hmm. I would like to see have turned green if only for a brief while anyway.

– NIMUE!!! EVERYTHING WITH NIMUE! LOVE HER! Merlin and her relationship was just too beautiful, and she is hardcore. I cant wait to see more of her!
– Little Young Apprentice! (wait…Merlin didn’t want to make Nimue immortal…but he made his apprentice immortal?)
DISLIKED:
– Zelena still being a tricky witch. Writers….please. I know Zelena is wicked but that woman has SOME goodness in her somewhere. I honestly cannot buy this card carrying villain shtick from Zelena. I don’t think she would have helped Arthur v_v sorry. I don’t.
– RETCONS!!!! I was under the impression that the first dark one was created at the vault of the dark one… now you tell me that’s not a thing? Pull your crap together, OUAT writers/
– Who the actual heck is this vortigun person and why is he relevant? Why is he just killing peoples?

Could it be the QoH? And just when we had thought they combined the characters.
That’s…… interesting. I was looking at scenes of her from the last film. There are some subtle differences. The size of her head in this trailer is smaller…and her skin isn’t as pale white…. And of course her hair is more heart shaped than it was in the previous film. I don’t think they are different characters though. I think they just improved her look.
But the fact that her head is more proportional is noticeable. It’s not normal size (at 0:44 you can see its still bigger than it would be normally) but hmm… maybe it grows?
