Yeah perhaps the baby has something to do with it. It’s a clean slate as they say, and the wand was used to transfer out Emma’s dark potential as as a fetus, maybe it can be used to transfer it into the baby…or used to transfer light magic out of the baby…or something?

If he hasn’t, then maybe he never really escaped, and the characters are interacting with an illusion. (There was a similar issue with Giles on season 7 of Buffy.)

1) Dark Ones, or at least Rumpel and Zoso, have goldish type scaly skin. The mask looks somewhat along those lines. 2) I was looking at the top of the mask and it seems like the mask COULD be fire. Seeing as they are going after Prometheus fire, that could be a thing and also….Hades has fire for hair.. So hmm…..

He is much too powerful to keep around forever as he would solve all the issues, and I was saying elsewhere that he is much to iconic for them to kill but…hey, I guess he is dead. Seriously, I wish we had some real information in where Blue Fairy fits into this magical hierarchy. What makes her so special? She must just be the most available powerful magic user, not the most powerful hands down.

If he hasn’t seen the original series, I would definitely recommend that, no matter what. It’s a masterpiece. They just released a complete series box set, which is pretty cheap on Amazon.
Oh yah, I know a lot of hardcore fans of the show hated it as an adaptation. But I don’t think kids would really complain. I watched the original series and I was okay with it, and my sister loves it. At the very least, the special effects were amazing! And the costumes were well done. The script (and cast) just needed major adjustments. I have said that if the cartoon had never existed and the film was original, I think it’d be seen better.
