While I see the potential parallel being made, Emma said everyone except Henry had failed her. So maybe Henry is the only one who believed in her enough to see her plan through that he offered her his heart, believing she’d save him like Snow saved David
Emma didn’t seem to be particularly upset with Hook if memory serves correct. She did let him happily into her home and attempted taco making. Whatever happened in Camelot, it seems Hook and Henry are on still on Emma’s good side.

IF Cora is to play a major part in the upcoming arc, I could believe this COULD happen.
HOWEVER….. I must ask: Would Cora be in Hades? Cora got her heart back in her last moments of life where it seems she at least expresses some regret for the way things turned out. Does that count as redemption for her? Either way, I love Cora enough that i’ll accept it just to see her again 😛

So, I know I’m in the extreme minority, but I don’t think it has to be Hook’s heart that Emma sacrifices to cast the dark curse. To cast it, one must sacrifice the heart of the thing she loves most. Then whose heart did she sacrifice? Henry’s heart. There is no way that Emma loves Hook more than her son. Just last episode Emma, cried over the dreamcatcher after Rumple said you always lose the ones you love most. The implication is that Emma was crying over losing her son after she used Violet to break Henry’s heart. Next, remember how Emma said everyone except Henry had failed her. Finally, just maybe Emma scarified Henry’s heart, but only if Henry willingly take out his own heart to give to his mother, believing that his mother would save him as she did previously in S1. After all, he has the heart of the truest believer and he knows that Snow and Charming share a heart. Emma sacrificing her son’s heart might be the darkest thing yet, and might be why she took away everyone’s memory. Yes, I’m fully prepared to eat my words. I am actually with you on this one. There’s no way they would have sacrifice Hook over Henry.
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they had her do that. At this stage in the game, I don’t even know Emma anymore.

Absolutely not. I was actually on Instagram the other day and there were some of the fans discussing that. It’s better just to say what I know about that. But there’s talk within the episode of a past relationship, like you said, but not for my character.So i guess the relationship is Red/Mulan
